We are currently diligently working on the system-configuration for 2.0. We would like to implement either an in-game configuration menu or make it possible to adjust settings from outside the game while the game is running.
An in-game menu should be standard imho. Being able to change the settings while the game is running outside the game implies game not crashing on alt-tab. While I'm aware they promised it won't come 2.0, I'm a bit skeptic about it.
