Honestly, I'd say that people have the right to air their criticisms whether they're being heard or not. People don't have to enter threads they don't like nor are they forced to comment in them.

I'm not seeing who's silencing you here? If anything, they were trying to silence this thread by asking why we're still whining about healers.

I'm also not demonising anyone. I'm pointing out that if someone dislikes a certain topic, they are not compelled in any way to enter the thread and post a snarky comment.

They chose to enter a thread and ask why people are still whining about a problem that hasn't been solved in any way, they got pushback for it. It's really just that simple.

I'd argue that whatever distinction may have existed for Class/Jobs is well and truly dead at this point. CNJ as a class was supposed to focus on Earth/Wind/Water magic but they don't even have a Water Spell with Fluid Aura gone. Now, Aqua Veil is the only water skill and it's learned as a WHM so why kneecap the class anymore than it already is just for a bygone distinction that even the Devs have long since abandoned?

I fail to see how reintroducing a mit/shield to the level 15-30 range and bringing lilies down to the level 30-50 range would "kneecap the class anymore than it already is", pray explain how that logic works.

Healer numbers in regular content may not be dropping, but healer quality certainly fell off a cliff.

Remember all the people coming into this thread after DT launch complaining about "those healerstrikers that only do damage and don't heal"? Yeah, those aren't the healerstrikers, those are the DPS mains that Yoshi P wants desperately to attract to the healer role.

I see a lot of online whining. I think we all do. Maybe it'd be better if we saw less, I'm 41 and still kinda thinking on that one.

I see this healer strike thread, and it immediately strikes me as just more self-important whinging into a vacuum, a sort of toddler tantrum complete with stomping feet.

And I wonder why we still do this. Like how many times has a "strike" in a video game really helped? (Unless said strike included the cancelation of money...)

So yeah. I came in here and was surprised that this thing still had legs this long after DT dropped. Devs world wide have never been as fluent in any coding language ever conceived as they are in the language of "dont care, didnt ask, gg lawl."

So why bother?

Well, as I learned, the state of healer issues has in fact been something Yoshi himself has learned about, and commented in. So there's that.

I have never seen an event quite like that. Wouldn't have believed it was possible. My hats off to the squeaky wheels.
