You know, that had me fuming during the role quest. I couldn't help think "for God's sake , I'm past level 90, I KNOW how to use Esuna, can you please throw something a bit more challenging my way?" It honestly felt condescending.

I think it was added to remind players that Esuna exists. Most healers don't use Esuna at all these days short of something like Doom (and sometimes not even then).
