I‘m not sure if this still holds true, but I think they have no dedicated Healer in their job design team, do they?
Just remembering back when Yoshi-P and the team showed us the new PVP mode and nobody played healer. Or when they did a „surprised pikachu face“ when people were pissed and wanted a new healer when dancer was revealed to be a DPS. They seriously don‘t care about the role and it shows

The only thing I remember about the team and healers is when they had to find a new healer for testing their dungeons, because the one they were using cleared a Savage, so they needed a lower skill healer. And man, does it show that they balance content around a lower skilled player...

Fixed. Their testing healer was replaced because they started learning Extreme and normal raid, not even savage.

Wait normal raids? Like normal Pandaemonium? The content that normal casuals who play the MSQ are supposed to be able to do?
So not even the "average casual" skill level is the common denominator? They really base it on the lowest possible skill level? And when a player at this level shows they improve - which should show the devs that normal players can and will get better at the game - instead of working with that or seeing that as positive feedback, they evict that tester from their role?

Nobody can recover from basically being told that "The healer we use for balancing our casual content was better than a gil farm bot, so we replaced them."

However, the sad truth is that if enough healers quit, then someone will fill the void out of desperation. Your queue time will be quite long in the mean time. #shuddersInWoWdpsQueueTimes #45minutesIsTooLongForADungeon

I think every healer in the strike is fully aware of that, they just don't care.
And if one of the dps/tank mains is switching to healer for faster queues then maybe they too will notice how awful the design of the role currently is.

Therein lies the rub. I don't think healer is poorly designed. I mained healer last expac because people quit playing healer and had a great time. I think the fights are poorly designed that the healer toolkit can be replaced by other jobs that have a capability for group heals. Also WAR nerf when? WAR heals are insane and they should stop. That's MY protest
