basically your talking about the healer abilities and casts in general cause they are technically the same with just 1 small diff which is hollow, is that your point?
The point is if you have 6 spells with 6 different buttons that heal/regen or sheild single target this is a bad design
If you watch carefully to jobs like Viper and picto they use 6 different abilities in 1 or 2 buttons
That is modern design

I understand what you’re saying. It’s the issue we have mentioned before that there’s no real difference between each healer. Same skill but different icon and visual effect. I could play Whm and then pick up sch and have no problem healing something else because this button is the single target heal…and this is the small aoe…and this is the bigger aoe…and this is the field heal…and so on.
Outside of the VERY few buttons that aren't 1 to 1, my entire set of hotbars are identical. This is where my AoE goes, this is where my oGCD AoE goes... This is my single target oGCD... It's depressing.I understand what you’re saying. It’s the issue we have mentioned before that there’s no real difference between each healer. Same skill but different icon and visual effect. Adding more attacks to the healers and more ways to meaningfully spend Job gauges. That is generally what I want.
And for AST, making all the cards actually good... While they were bland as just DPS buffs, they were all alzways usable in any situation. Now, only 1 of the 3 you get with a draw is a DPS buff, and on both Draws it's the only one that's guaranteed to be useful. And of the minor arcanas, Lady of the Crowns is kinda useless in general while Lord of the Crowns is very good.
So healers wanna see more damage buttons and less party mitigations/selfheals?
And then we see wipes, because little white mage here wanted to press one more DPS button. Just no. If you have bigger DPS toolkit, you are expected to use it and then its more likely to see people wipe because of it. Its funny, that healers are always the biggest crybabies in the game. First, they had it too hard. Now its too simple. And majority of the crybabies are people who never did anything harder than normal raids. Like what. Why this bonkers thread have already 600+ pages? Are you all crazy?
Go touch grass or go play DPS. We havent even seen yet how much damage will this Savage gonna brings and nobody cares about your strike. I have insta quee as tank and long quee as healer, so I can only laugh.
Oh please. The kind of sub-casual tier healer that would struggle with a single button extra isn't pushing their DPS buttons in the first place. Stop making up boogeymen when even the casual players are saying "THIS SUCKS!"So healers wanna see more damage buttons and less party mitigations/selfheals?

Also there are several Ultimate raiders in here who also agree. THIS. SUCKS.
I think my gameplay in leveling roulette should be fun.
it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
Your logic is inconsistent.
Healers are already expected to use their DPS kit, and if the issue is "you should be using all your kit all the time" - then why isn't that true for healing, as well? I, and others, literally don't have the majority of our heal spells on our bars because they're not needed.
If we're don't have to heal, and we're not going to be able to have engaging DPS gameplay, why on earth do we exist?
Thank you for your support and understanding of what our strike is meant to do.Go touch grass or go play DPS.
Most players don't touch savage, or even extremes. Not that this issue doesn't persist there either. We havent even seen yet how much damage will this Savage gonna brings
And yet here you are, showing your support. Thank you!nobody cares about your strike.
And thank you for queuing as healer so we don't have to, we appreciate it.I have insta quee as tank and long quee as healer, so I can only laugh.
