Criterion at least managed to make trash pulls interesting, but the healing there isn't any more difficult then savage overall.

Eh, I'd say it's ever so slightly more interesting than savage cause at least you aren't stepping on another healer's foot trying to heal the party.
One healer with bloated potency is an issue of itself, two that's just ridiculous. Still has the ever-going issue of being able to heal just on oGcDs though, but that's why there's multiple issues to tackle in the healer role as stated prior.

#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
1: Healers need something to do when they aren't healing, the lousy one button dps experience and occasional second just is not enough.
2: The sustain of the nonhealer jobs has taken our job from us...which has left us nothing to do besides our lousy one button dps experience.
3: We do not need most of the healing buttons...a lot of those buttons can straight up be removed or consolidated. Which would be a good thing to consolidate using the new sys.
4: Pure & Shield means nothing and having any combination of the two is just overkill.

Roulettes are a major portion of the reward structure (including the gear required for harder content if not an omnicrafter) and are essential for ensuring queues pop for people trying to run specific content (story trials for instance)
Just do X will never be the answer, the game's health literally has a hard requirement of healers going into roulettes only to get level 4 gameplay at level 90.

Thank you for the info. I was thinking of maybe healing the next criterion since people here keep saying it's engaging, but if I was already just one-button spamming in savage then it would be a waste of my time to gear up for criterion only to have the same one-button spam gameplay.
