#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
Healers have been neglected for 3 expansions now and this needs to be rectified with the following:
- An engaging DPS kit beyond a nuke and DoT.
- Increased incoming damage so we have more to heal.
- Distinctive playstyles amongst the healers.
- Some nerfs to non-healer heals, we shouldn't be replaceable.
This is how MMOs used to be for group content (not even for high end raiders). Groups regularly failed new and advanced dungeons, and you then geared up, learned from your mistakes, and cleared it. And people felt really good when they did it.i just dont understand why are people so afraid of failure, and things going slow thats how we grow by getting destoryed, by things making us fail that is how we learn from mistakes we make, you have to fail to reach your objective typically have to fail alot, why are many people so afraid of that failure that will be the greatest thing to ever happan to them in games..
you know how many times i got flat out wiped off the map in warcraft 3 it took me over 150-300 games to get a decent skill level with night elfs, and i still find myself just a little below avarage skill level in war3 i mean im better than how i was, but im no way a pro at it i just i dont get it honestly, then again im the same girl that goes to a graveyard almost every night hoping a vampire prince will kidnap me and take me to his paradise ... but hasnt happan yet
At least it's not Cure 1 proc fishing lol.

I don't agree with 99% of things you've said in this thread. This is the 1% I do. All the healer/tank crap aside, I, personally, would love to have more challenging casual content and it's a bloody shame we can't.I find it more toxic that we are in a generation where people aren't expected to learn their classes in 90, soon to be 100 levels. It's more toxic I just have to hold my tongue when players can't perform basic functions on their class, such as a Dancer selecting a Dance partner, Bards singing, healers doing anything but spamming medica, etc. all under the assumption that suggestions for improvement are viewed as toxic.
You may not have liked how they said it, but honestly if people want to play as bad as possible, they should let trusts serve as the easy-mode. Even let them select difficulty for all I care. But the majority of the playerbase shouldn't have to suffer only braindead content because some people don't think players should have to learn skills to handle at least modestly challenging content.
i'll never understand it myself.
I started playing back in 2014. and i was complete doga** back then. I would argue i still am in compairison to others. But i pride myself with (self titled) hardcore casual title. but i still expect myself to learn from my mistakes and grow understanding in what i'm doing.
(have read your post above) I was in 504 plans all throughout elementary til i graduated from highschool. I grew up with learning disabilities, in spec.ed classes. And i pushed myself to be better. arguing that others can't due to this is a null excuse to me. it's a video game. it's not rocket engineering. So i feel ya. Congrats on entering into uni for your desired field btw. have my fingers crossed for you that you achieve it!! Go get em!
atleast path of exiles 2 may may be coming out soon, so i can get killed in 4 shots for being dumb on a boss so I have to go through my build and think How can i beat this,it may take 4 months to kill it but it will feel good when i doThis is how MMOs used to be for group content (not even for high end raiders). my first entrace in a dungeon in this game i was a complete failure, and im greatfull to that one player who told me in a similar way to way im talking because it helped me more than anything. Kindness comes in diffrent forms, Im greatfull to people who are mean to me in a dungeon yes it can go to far ( i mean wow goes way to far) but how do i put this just think of fluttershy okay in mlp, she was way to nice which almost killed out the breezys later on she learns sometimes the greatest kindness is an aspect of being mean.Been. part of ff14 before shadowbringers because of a friend. I understand your viewpoint, but I know ff14 was know for nice and good community. I stick by it and recommend anybody try. Cause this game isn't world of warcraft, eve online or even runescape. Not even Dota or League of Legends. So please think was your first entrance of dugeon have understanding players that accept your difficulties or not. I am asking to be the helpful player you meet ingame not just person you find here complaining and not providing fun.
I think is a point where being cruel is just wrong, however being overly kind and saying its okay is also horrible to do to people, because its going to harm them alot. FFxiv method is wrong and wows method is wrong for 2 very diffrent ways but both are wrong in a similar way

As I side with no particulur group. Because I see people who should in fact do more ingame. Or least put it suggestion box at staff.
I think it was great of you both to speak up. I find the belief that people with learning disabilities will never be able to overcome obstacles patronizing.i'll never understand it myself.

I think all players should be showed patience and kindness, especially those trying and learning.
It's just at this point there are certain players that simply don't want to, and won't...and their egocentrism and disregard for their team has nothing to do with having any learning disabilities.
do u still live in a cage btwi just dont understand why are people so afraid of failure, and things going slow thats how we grow by getting destoryed, by things making us fail that is how we learn from mistakes we make, you have to fail to reach your objective typically have to fail alot, why are many people so afraid of that failure that will be the greatest thing to ever happan to them in games..
