Eureka as it is involves everyone running around in the fate train, standing around for most of the time while 6-9 people actually kill the pop mobs, and "leveling" from the exp the fates get you, even though elemental level has nothing to do with actually getting a relic save for upgrading the weapon's final step. (because feathers won't drop if you aren't 19/20.) The leveling aspect could be stripped entirely from the game because the way you advance your relic is just fate drops and the time it takes to get them is what slows you down ultimately. Many people will have a full relic set - the +2 weapon well before they cap elemental level, and the elemental level in gameplay is useless; its just a boost to damage or resistances and effects nothing else.

Like when i thought on it before it launched, I thought we'd need to kill various elemental enemies and fill slots on a magia board in a sphere grid style action, but there's literally none of that. Most of the enemies even we kill only use one type of magia, fire. Many high level fates have fire-based enemies.Even if you didn't match elements, unless you are main tank nothing happens, because elemental level just nerfs your damage or buffs it either way as a hard gate.

edit: boosting means gearing, i thought that was obvious.

I take it common sense has not dawn that for certain fates, just like in normal ones , your contribution plays a role. So of course if your not lvl 19/20 you don't get drops. Kind of why the big picture is that if your level under 15 mainly your a heal / res bot and others do the work. Lvl 20 are there more support ( not all of some actually do help out ) and kills based on how they are needed and make up for it in fates others can't contribute as much hence the party sharing evaluation. If it's such a big deal just do an xp low nm party on your own. You don't have to stick with train. It's just faster to gain xp. All about choices and common sense. Most of us High levels are just crystal farming and if we have all weps, yes most of us do, we don't really need Pazuzu and just tag along for crystals. If people take their sweet time or choose not to go to Eureka as often I feel sympathy...but the world is not fair...SO make it fair or go at the pace that works.
