Waiting 17 month to get a Fate farm map

Gameplay that have been overlysimplified that there is no fun in playing class,i have more fun playing SSBM (legit)

Waiting litteraly years for an app,that is useless (its not Eve online or albion) there is no reason for that market thingy,talk to friend ? discord is there.

Getting cut out content to "bring more different and fun content" to at the end,just get less content that are not fun,come on i double dare yout o tell me dungeon are fun,that eureka make you laugh so much your sides hurt and that pf to go in savage are awesome.

Are they trying to kill the game or ? im lost i dont know what the dev are thinking ?Since stormblood i have no fun.primal are disapointing,dungeon.....same thing since 4 years yaaaay.

Everytime its a total letdown.

And here the big carrot in our ..... so they cangive more invetory space because of server limitation,and there is the premium app,HOP double inventory space for chocobo saddle bad and 1 more retainer ? for real ? EA get out of that compagny,vade retro microtransactionas.

I have a headache from reading this, well, trying to read this but, I agree 100%. This seems like something EA/Bioware would do with SWTOR.

I been playing ESO getting ready for Summerset Isle expansion. I only log into FF to do daily hunts, mini cacpot, and retainers. This coming from someone who has done everything in the game minus savage content, I dont do savage but normal I do. I only have WHM at 66 and AST at 60 and all the rest, DoW, all tanks, all dps/SCH, are at 70. No use getting WHM/AST to 70 right now if I want to try the new deep dungeon.

I'm already subbed for 90 days so I can't just unsub and by the time I could, new content will be out and there will be no reason to.

Just do what i'm doing, play something else for now.

They've been doing this for a while. Players just defend it, and SE can just push the line further since there will ALWAYS be people who defend scummy practices.

Not to mention, they don't really care about NA all that much. There's a serious lack of communication and transparency that we're better off complaining on the JP boards.

I've been arguing with white knights for a bit now that think that this dumpster fire is somehow a non-issue that doesn't affect the game. Mind you, these are the same people that think that loot boxes are what is keeping EA and Activision alive. These are the power potatoes that AAA game devs want more than anything so they can do nothing and get paid for it.

Hate loot boxes with a passion, as it's luck and rng. We hate rng here, we have enough of it. I am OK with this app function tho, probably won't use the premium features, but it's a lot cheaper than loot boxes. Will see if their currency starts being used for shit like loot boxes before I start complaining. If it turns into a gacha tho, I'm out. And I have over 11000 hours over 7 years logged on this game

Just because people defend certain things SE does, does not mean they will defend EVERYTHING SE does.

They did a lot of mistakes with Stormblood. (New and bad PvP System, oversimplified mechanics and Skills, Eureka and so on). My friendlist (wich has about 145 People) was very alive once, now there is like 20 people online in the prime time. Citys look kinda empty and it overall feels like that a good portion of Players left the Game. This App thingy with the (almost) Pay2win addition is the beginning of what some people Call "Riding a dead horse". The company slowly starts to introduce more and more Payed additions to the Game wich will give you a minor or significant advantage to squeeze out as much money of the Game as possible for the Time its still kind of alive. As a Company im sure SE is aware of the fact that this new APP will lower the Reputation of FFXIV and make it look bad to fresh starters. The fact they dont care about this says a lot.

Eh, "oversimplified" ignores the fact that the game had a lot of fluff abiltiies that all jobs pretty much shared. SE condensed down to the mechanics of each job so each job could play to it's style rather than be X job that has no weaponskill DoT combo. They realized it was unnecessary and reeled it back.

As for the app. . . don't use it, as for the justification that it's not needed cause people have Discord. Not everyone is on the same Discord, so while Discord may work for immediate FC it doesn't always work for other FC friends you know, other friends, people in other LS etc.

As for Eureka, while yes it's devolved to fate farming at the end of the day it did achieve it's objective of being a content which provides a means for casual player to obtain loot without the excess of relying on RNG to get them through.

it does if you join the server discord LOL. We got over 2500 people using it for the Cactuar one, so yeah, kind of made what you just said, moot.

Well, there's no real attention to the app feature on the J forums, nor in game so far. Yesterday during the live letter guys were linking some new features into the FC chat, that's it. Maybe I'll ask today what they are thinking about the paid app specifically.

On the J forums there's only one thread named "Request for FF14 smartphone application" from 2015 and it has 3 pages so far with 2 posts from yesterday and today.
