I understand why people are striking over this but like Can I not get a healer that refuses to heal? I'm honestly heated over healers that can't keep the party alive and allow the entire party and their mom to die.

Maybe give them advice if they're receptive. Or vote dismiss that healer and wait for another if they're actively walling the party from clearing.
Such healers are byproduct of both developer and community pardoning the "below-mediocrity" of healer quality in DFs from various factors for years.
I play solo and my biggest pet peeve is that multiple people have to agree and if it's already a premade + me I'm automatically in the wrong.Maybe give them advice if they're receptive. Or vote dismiss that healer and wait for another if they're actively walling the party from clearing.

It's kind of the end result of Square driving people who want to heal out of the role that those healers become more common.
Healer gameplay loop is such that they are probably just brain afk.
probably true. Most healers who play healer nowdays just want the benefit of the fast queue time. I for myself made challenges for me to see how much I can do while a fight, but i knew i have to heal the party or they will die. Well people who dont care and just want a fast queue time and then spamming glare the hole dungeon forget that they are actually a healer. Long story short healers nowdays are split into people who actually want healing which is in the name and people who want to do dmg with small queue times. There are 2 solutions make enemys hit so hard that healing is neccesarry and the dps healer will drop it like in p8s or expand the grp size to 5 / 10 make one support dps role and create dungeons for the roles. example Boss X starts casting big AoE and spawning 3 towers 2 have to be dpsed down one have to be healed at top. i dont know maybe its just me but i would like content like this even more then just spamming glare while Assize is more then eough to heal my party

if the developers make the role so braindead and boring that people who feel no responsibility can pick up the job and get quick queue times to fill a spot, this is the type of people you get.
if you have 2 or maybe three buttons that are dps and tHE entire rest of the kit is for healing.... And nothing ELSE, AND THEY REFUSE TO HEAL? according to SE, they made the job right.. so whats the problem?
the problem is obviously... that anyone who wants to have fun in their job.. would play dps or tank.

That "so what" seems to be a crux of SE design philosophy. To get that SE to change from that philosophy a major shift would have to happen within the community. Their track record has shown they are not a fan of player created meta that excludes certain jobs, at one point they were sure but the community did speak out against such metas. And I'm pointing out that it's a big mistake to care about player-created metas. If every job is viable, people that lock out certain jobs in regular PF would be seen as the memes that they are, as long as the jobs are reasonably balanced.
So someone will lock out jobs that aren't optimal, so what? WHM was never optimal except for 1 patch and nobody really locks out WHM. You can't achieve a balance that can completely break a player-created meta unless every job does the exact same things with different skins, and I don't have to point out why that's a bad idea.

it is completely griefing, but people still do it so I doubt they are being reported. its not dooming to say that this is how the role has been designed by SE. because.. it is.
the problem is the people who are doing only dps as a healer. thats who SE designed it for...
