Also if people complaining about the Strike would actual read the very first post of said Strike they would know that its not about Disrupting the Game but getting attention for the problem.
Which the Striker certainly does get.

I think there's a difference between silent and indifferent here. There are times the Silent Majority might care about something in the game. The question of role homogenization before recent xpacs comes to mind. But in this case your silent majority--if anything--probably wants the class to be easier.Well thats what the "silent majority is". The loudest people will always be in the minority. Thats pretty much for every gaming community where people just log in, play a bit and log off without giving a care on whats buffed/nerfed, what ceo did what and etc..and rarely if ever reads any forums/news regarding it.
People who yell for or against whatever issue are always be in the minority cause not many people will develop a passion for a video game where others sees as "some random pixels to waste 1-2hs in an evening.
You've correctly cited a bunch of small issues where a healer experience is concerned, but at the end of the day, they all add up. Leveling SCH nearly put me to sleep.I don't understand this strike at all, i always played healer since HW (WHM and Scholar from ShB).... It's true i'm missing Stone Skin, and the aqua spell (the one that did damage and was slowing down), the MP management.
But, from the beginning, healer never had any real DPS choice... For a while, Scholar did have a lot of DoT, renmant of the old ARC/SMN.... but that's all
It's true we were more busy because enmity was working in another way, and tank wasn't sturdy as they are now (and skill were using TP, so less DPS).
The problem, in the end, it's not the healers kit, but how the game system evoloved whithout us.... And, be serious, it's not a useless DPS rotation that will chag,e something (and if they implement a DPS rotation to healer, you can be sure that it will only one button combo like VPR and Picto....so...)
It's the entire role that need to evolve and change, but, do you see CU3 do something like that? I mean, right now we heal more than enough to keep a full team alive easily... I think it's all they see. For them it's working, and since it's working, why "breaking it", by changing it completly?
So, i realy think your strike it's pointless, it will change nothing at all, and, anyway, people doing the "strike", are in fact a very little minority and it doesn't impact the game at all.... so....
I will also add that i know people that participate in the Strike but dont interact active in the Forum or the official discord.
So its not like the Strike is a solid union with memberlist.
Yeah, all feedback everywhere is always given by a minority. That doesnt inherently mean the feedback is invalid or valid. It's up to the devs to judge feedback and to make good updates for the game. They might implement feedback poorly, that doesnt mean the feedback was the problem either.Well thats what the "silent majority is". The loudest people will always be in the minority. To play devil's advocate, I think the encounter mechanics in DT bosses thus far are leagues better than EW in terms of challenge and at least testing the healer's situational awareness. I think more of the problem is that the Healer classes themselves are just fundamentally flawed.Yeah, all feedback everywhere is always given by a minority. Regarding what they care or dont. My point being, few people will actively seek out venues to express their opinions. Hence the name silent majority. They will simply continue to play the game till they stop due to not having fun anymore or for whatever other reason and just unsub. Maybe at best fill out some unsub survey form and etc.I think there's a difference between silent and indifferent here. There are times the Silent Majority might care about something in the game. So does the silent majority fully support the strikers ideology? Are against it? Indiferent? Or fractured into many factions as well? I dont know and I think nobody does(if somebody wants to claim otherwise, please provide the survey data as well).
Hence SE has to be careful with them. If they make something which a fraction of them doesn't like. They wont voice their dissatisfaction..they will simply...quit.
Sorry but you don't get any attention in fact.... I live in a country where, if a strike doesn't disrupt, it doesn't get any attention at all and is completly forgoten (and we are know for being expert in strike XD)..... There is a lo of exemple
And this what it's actually hapenning to the healer strike... A vast majority doesn't even know about it, and, to be serious, personally, i totally forgot about it... And i'm pretty sure that SE and CU3 doesn't even know about it or just have vaguely heard about it.... And don't care at all
Don't get me wrong, you have the right to do a strike, and i will never condemn you for doing it... But, i don't think this will get you somewhere.
Or would scare away more people cause for average joe. They avoid tank/healer jobs in roulette not cause of them being too hard or difficult or too easy but the fact that they are "responsible", now sprinkle in that they also have to do dps(even if juts 1 button or few flashy spell animations). And before you scream"but healing is braindead easy anyway". Again look from your average joe who wants to give it a shot. I also was a bit scared to try out my first tanking runs in FFXIV and WoW out of fear being responsible for the route, pulling and staying alive. Now ofc when you got some confidence, it is considered "easy".
If I had a nickel for every time someone said the strike will accomplish nothing, rent would be covered, world hunger solved, and maybe have enough money to buy out SE.
