2. New content doesn't excuse zero knowledge of their basic abilities. No Kardia, no shield Sages, Freecure fishing, Medica II spamming, not using rez. Lots of Glare mages around, too.

Anacdotal reports about the number of healers you see, have nothing to do with the healer strike. Did you survey them if they are happy with the role? If they read about the healer strike. What they thought about the points in the manifesto. Etc.

It's just bad faith prodding, trying to invalidate the complaints about healers with nonsense.

The intent of the strike is to get attention for the complaints healers have had for years. It already worked. There is 0 chance the devs are unaware of the strike.
And it's a cause to rally behind for people who do agree with the strike.
We have no further influence on what the devs will do. And that is fine.
We have no way or intent to force other players to stop playing a role they still enjoy. And that is fine.

And I am very sure that people giving feedback about healers aren't trying to adhere to your opinions about when it's worth giving feedback, or how they should give that feedback. You (and other people trying do to the same) are a useful vehicle to keep the thread visible, but that is about all you are to me.

oh youve received attention alright, something you also complained about on a sub thread. how you felt the streamers made fun of you and didnt fairly represent you. thats the attention you recieved. just read xenosys and zeplas comments sections. mr happy called it a joke. cole said he couldn't take it seriously. you received plenty attention. but 0 support from any large backer

if a chance is 0 its no longer a chance its a guarantee. what you're saying is that you can categorically guarantee me that the devs have seen your strike. until yoshiP confirms he has seen this, im afraid that is NOT something you can do.

A lot of points here and, while I have posted and supported the Healer Strike, I can tell you that there has been both support AND discourse from the birth of this strike. I think the thing that has happened from it that is a good thing is discussions of jobs, roles, and the direction of the gameplay. So in this sense, just talking about things does some good.

As far is the guarrantee vs. "0 chance", I think you are arguing semantics here but I will oblige. No, from the realist standpoint we have no confirmation that the devs has seen the strike but we also have more reason to believe then not that they have seen it based on information from the devs in the past. i.e devs telling us they check streams/forums.

We are also saying that we aren't trying to blow the game up. We aren't trying to quit over a specific part of the game we love. We WANT to have fun with healers, we WANT to but I have been falling asleep as a healer waaaay more then even being a gatherer and I feel like that is an issue. So no, we do not have control over devs actions and that is ok. If they change things awesome, if not then that is ok.

regarding the manderville relics, I am not sure I know what is being entirely talked about here, but didn't Yoshida say himself that he regrets making things as easy and accessible or was I just mishearing things? Regardless, I will be curious to see what they do with relics in Dawntrail I do hope it isn't another manderville (side tangent here haha)

it is allowed to do group content with friends. we are just not joining any roulettes with randoms generally.

does it surprise you that people that play healers have friends that we can group with? of course it does

there are, as someone has said, trusts we can use. while it may not be as "fast and efficient" as you like, healers are rather used to that due to the gameplay of healers.

again its this same attitude. its just rude and unnecessary. its like you think we all owe you something so its okay to target the rest of us for your grievances with SE. nobody is saying omg your ruining my ques, nobodys asking you to play your job, if your not happy on it, go ahead stop playing. but theres no need for this song and dance. just say u dont enjoy it and go play something you do enjoy. These are two different people with two different goals. Also, the only thing that will ultimately draw the devs eye is if the number of healer players drops in general. If these people don't want to play healers in their current state, they need to... not play then in their current state.. And that will disrupt things in the long run. I'm reminded of Heavensward era tank playerbase being so small its what warranted all tanks being reworked to the way we are in our current state. I'd like to see stance dancing make a return, but as long as people are playing tanks it won't change. That's how it will go for healers, too. Only when the healer population is diminished to a small enough percentage of overall players will anything actually happen. So if healers are to be rare, you will see disrupted que times regardless of organization

That said, reworking 4 jobs from a mechanical level without changing the current encounter design and design of past encounters is a monumental task. I wouldn't expect anything to come of this for at minimum another expansion, if anything at all.
