So, today is the first day of the massive healer strike. Can we get some statements from the people behind it on how it's going so far?

Expert queues are long and most healers in it don't know how to use half their kit. Seems like lots of healer mains have quit on my data center at least.

I'm seeing a lot of Freecure fishers and Medica II spammers + Sages who just...never shield. I have seen a single Astrologian in the past few days. All of them are allergic to 1 - healing the tank in alliance raids and 2 - ever using rez. I'm honestly doing more to keep half my roulette parties alive on DNC than a good chunk of the healers I get.

ques are allways long as dps. this has been the case since day 1. msq ques however are unaffected by this even as a dps. most healer dont know hat to do because theyre not used to the content step up and because its new

1. Queues in Endwalker were below 5 minutes for me for most of Endwalker. Can't speak for launch, definitely not this long.
2. New content doesn't excuse zero knowledge of their basic abilities. No Kardia, no shield Sages, Freecure fishing, Medica II spamming, not using rez. Lots of Glare mages around, too.

a healing job realised in end walker. not 2 dps that everyone is playing1. Queues in Endwalker were below 5 minutes for me for most of Endwalker. Can't speak for launch, definitely not this long.

that is why this strike is pointless. you continue to play the job you claim you hate. you continue to que as it, get achievements on it. do high end content on it. your not sending yoshi p any message other than "i will still play this job"Anacdotal reports about the number of healers you see, have nothing to do with the healer strike. Did you survey them if they are happy with the role? If they read about the healer strike. What they thought about the points in the manifesto. Etc.
It's just bad faith prodding, trying to invalidate the complaints about healers with nonsense.

The intent of the strike is to get attention for the complaints healers have had for years. It already worked. There is 0 chance the devs are unaware of the strike.
And it's a cause to rally behind for people who do agree with the strike.
We have no further influence on what the devs will do. And that is fine.
We have no way or intent to force other players to stop playing a role they still enjoy. And that is fine.
And I am very sure that people giving feedback about healers aren't trying to adhere to your opinions about when it's worth giving feedback, or how they should give that feedback. You (and other people trying do to the same) are a useful vehicle to keep the thread visible, but that is about all you are to me.

oh youve received attention alright, something you also complained about on a sub thread. how you felt the streamers made fun of you and didnt fairly represent you. thats the attention you recieved. just read xenosys and zeplas comments sections. mr happy called it a joke. cole said he couldn't take it seriously. you received plenty attention. but 0 support from any large backer
if a chance is 0 its no longer a chance its a guarantee. what you're saying is that you can categorically guarantee me that the devs have seen your strike. until yoshiP confirms he has seen this, im afraid that is NOT something you can do.There is 0 chance the devs are unaware of the strike
if its fine then why are you bothering. when yoshiP says nothing is changing will it be fine then?We have no further influence on what the devs will do. And that is fine.
because you say WE here, i am going to hold you accountable for the rest of this little movements actions. you have attacked and made fools of the people who do not support the strike. argued in bad faith and vitriol. which you can find examples on all over this and other related threads. We have no way or intent to force other players to stop playing a role they still enjoy. And that is fine.
except these are not MY opinions. these are yoshidas words himself. remember the mandervil relics? he decided that they were good for the game because the number of players getting the achievements was high. did he care about the counter argument. no. he continued to release more and more tomestone relic StagesAnd I am very sure that people giving feedback about healers aren't trying to adhere to your opinions about when it's worth giving feedback, or how they should give that feedback
okay griffith. You (and other people trying do to the same) are a useful vehicle to keep the thread visible, but that is about all you are to me.
if you really wanted to send yoshi P a message youd have rallied for nobody to play the job even to level it. but of course then u cant walk around or afk with your pretty glams or help your fc mates. and when savages come back into cycle i think suddenly you'll fall completely silent on this topic
