+1 from me. Healing can be engaging in several ways; MP management, dealing with movement, the damage rotation, and healing itself. Every expansion these aspects have been diminished.

> Movement is easy now with 1.5s filler spells and many instant spells.
> The damage rotation is totally lacking, no DoTs of different lengths to juggle, no procs, no combos or anything of that sort, just '1' over and over.
> And finally healing has been offloaded to other roles' personal heals/mit, and a massive amount of oGCDs which does nothing to vary your GCD presses. The range of heal spells has also been inflated, so there's no thought or planning how to heal effectively from a distance. Even across the new massive hitboxes (something which made tanking/melee uptime less engaging but that's another issue) you can heal freely.

So what's your contribution? You're just here to be dismissive, which is just inane. You're exuding an "against us" vibe... so yeah, antagonizing people here will bring out that with/against us feeling, because it's clear you're very much against it.

I'm not against it at all, I just think it's wasted breath unless the players do something actual drastic, if you're not happy with it, do as I do and unsub until you're satisfied with whats released, I plan on doing this after DT's story cause that's all im interested in for now(bearing in mind I still havent finished ew's story because I havent logged in).

Calling this thread an echo chamber is rich. I see quite a few people expressed disagreement with not a single person jumping at them.

The difference is that those people are cordial and respectful in their disagreement, many others are rude.

I feel like the fundamental issue, especially in more casual content, isn't with healers but with combat design in general. It's just boring and unengaging. This might be a me issue but I feel like content ranges from easy and boring to very difficult and boring. It's all way too static. At least healing forces me to multitask, which is why I prefer it over DPS or Tank jobs. Of course that also goes out the window in easy content because there's nothing to multitask.
