That's fair and it's totally your prerogative keep such mindset. But that won't be true for everybody else. Personally to me, gameplay is equally important to the fantasies. That gameplay has existed before. One of the example:

See how different SCH's gameplay is across the last 4 expansions? See how many casts are being relegated to Broils closer to recent expacs because every other damage buttons are being deleted and have its potencies added into Broils as a 'compensation' while also bloating both our kits and nonhealers' with so many free healings?

When we speak of 'rotation/don't want to spam 1 button', we'd like for each healers to have different & varied ways to output their damage that doesn't just come from 1 single button. DOESN'T HAVE to be 123. Just give us ANYTHING to do that's not 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 - The next thing in the list is to spam weave /doze emote every GCD while that DRK soaks the trash pull with their new Excog.

Blizzard looked at the data and responded appropriately. Shadowlands was an absolute disaster of an xpac that saw their population plummet. Remember the whole "WoW exodus"? EW, meanwhile, had the highest active playerbase to date for FFXIV at every point along the way (even after the "WoW exodus" subsided). SE is also listening to feedback - just feedback from everyone through the myriad data gathering they do rather than selectively listening to the minuscule few of us that post on the forums. Blizzard had a problem they needed to solve. SE has a game still on an upward trajectory.

Go on then, tell people who made graphical update posts, which are prevalent on first page at this section of the forum, that their complaints are subjective opinions and thus don't matter because they aren't shared by the silent majority in game

What's stopping you? or are you doing this because it's convenient for you to pull out majority card yet again

[...]By the way I'm right. Healer mains for years leaving will effect the quality of healers in PF, didn't say there won't be any healers in PF. All I said was the fact that if a bunch of healer mains who have played it for years stop playing it we will lose out on healers of that quality in PF.

Case in point, don't have to look back too far: Abyssos. A good amount of 'good healers' who were on hopium got fed up by Asphodelos that they either (a)Seclude themselves to the statics - myself included, or; (b)Stop healing next tiers entirely. What happens next was those same amount of missing healers are being replaced by new healers who were more accustomed to 'modern healerwork'. Suddenly Abyssos comes hard and is also adding an uncontrollable elements such as that one SAM who refuse to use their Feint.

Now what? These new healers either (a)Realize how $h!tty it was to be subjected to an uncontrollable element & taking the unwarranted blame for that, or; (b)Their 'softened resilience' having been babied by Asphodelos cripples them. Both of these cases leads to them refusing to heal (waiting for 4 hours for barrier healer on a friend's static was definitely fun time lmao). This sort of situation can indeed happen again.

Regardless, the strike has been meritful. People are talking about the strike. Naysayers are bumping and $h!ttalking the topic which ultimately brings up the discussion to common eyes more than any strikers tried to do. It brings more attention to these topics that both the dismissive job dev team & their white knight defenders desperately try to yell against/shutdown and sweep them under the rug hoping the storm to pass. Good. Let this be a common knowledge: healer role is a dumpster fire. Let more people be exposed to this (shoutout to Xenos for his most recent interview heheh). That'll kickstart the chain reaction and the feedback loop. Strikers who no longer play healer wins either way: quit healer and be happier - or see the conclusion favoring them to return to the role (even happier!).

This only shows how many of the people who are against the strike havent even read the first post of it. They aren't here because they can argue the points, they are here because we dare to criticise their perfect game

Look at all the people walking in, gloating about how nothing has changed and how this strike accomplished nothing.
Do you feel better now? Did you really feel the need to come here and laugh at the people trying to make a change?
Are you happy that healers will likely remain the way they are, and previously passionate players don't want to play anymore?
What is your goal?
