In that case the frilly dress SCH got should be disintegrated. When the two sides of the forum disagree, the devs can't satisfy everyone, they'll go with the side they are familiar with. If they did what these forums are screaming for, they would alienate the Japanese players.
Y'all need to come to some kind of understanding with the JP side, otherwise this is, as I said, performative nonsense. The devs *are* listening to feedback. It's just that the feedback they're listening to isn't yours. Therefore, you should endeavor to persuade the people who are giving opposing feedback. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy being ignored.
That's a cute comment. Your japanese is poor, please have someone who can write in proper japanese. Otherwise go post in your native language forums.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.
And thats why this won't work, they won't be able to get the Japanese on board because they're not as overly interested in change like all these healers are.

I dont know how realistic or impactful this strike is going to be if a majority of it are still going to actively pay for and play the game.
This really just feels like a "cake and eat it too" scenario with people who have some good points and have a complaint, but still will actively engage in the medium that continues down the path based upon what is profitable. Good luck on it regardless.

I'm happy for healing in casual content to stay easy but I would like to bring up the issue of healers not feeling engaging to play outside of the healing buttons. Right now there isnt enough damage to warrant 100% focus on maintaining party health but equally very little to do to/think about when not healing. Pressing one DPS button continually, with a DoT every 30s does not make for a fun and engaging interaction with the jobs skills. There is very little in the way of active decision making once youve planned your heals and mit timings, this particularly makes reclears of content tiresome.

I find it interesting that someone suggesting an additional option to getting feedback heard is getting more pushback in this thread than any of the people who are against the current sentiment in general.
I've been accused of trolling, and had aspersions cast on my motivations because I....suggested opening a dialogue with the side of the forum that the devs actually pay attention to?

Bc showing up on the JP forums with a manifesto that has been run through google translate can very well do more harm than good, and can come off as pushy or arrogant. I'm not opposed to reaching overseas, but I'd much rather it be from someone who is bilingual than trusting a machine to capture the nuance that has to be present in a topic like this.I find it interesting that someone suggesting an additional option to getting feedback heard is getting more pushback in this thread than any of the people who are against the current sentiment in general.

Because God knows, posters on the Final Fantasy XIV Official English Forums would *never* want to come across as "pushy" or "arrogant."Bc showing up on the JP forums with a manifesto that has been run through google translate can very well do more harm than good, and can come off as pushy or arrogant. I mean, yeah. We're definitely ruder over here. I don't get what kind of gotcha you think you're throwing out here...
Because we also know that methodology doesn't fly over in JP. If we show up with poorly translated, poorly articulated arguments... The pushback for 'rudeness' will kill the movement over there before it begins.
I gave AST a shot, and it's still miserable to play, even to think about. Worst iteration by far. Praying for 8.0, I guess...

Actually, I apologize for this post. I was a bit irritated by the accusations of trolling and lashed out. I appreciate the difficulties you address in the latter half of your post, but I still think the potential benefit is more than worth the risk if possibly offending a few Japanese posters.
