Now that they've done the ol' bait and switch you know Sages will be using Doton in single target for months to come

Oh, also, Macrocosmos, Toxikon and Pneuma's potencies were not adjusted for the Media Tour, so they became 'a damage loss' to use. Toxikon and Pneuma have now been adjusted to be damage neutral once more...
but Macrocosmos still remains at its original potency. It's like the Aero2-Dia fiasco all over again. How many times can 'small issue that should have been caught in QA' slip by for Healers like this before we can establish that 'there's definitely a pattern here'
Yeah, the change is real, you cannot stack E.Dysk with E.Dosis anymore. As for where this information comes from... I can't say that here on OF, but if you know, you know. But honestly, what a bummer. The most exiting thing healers got going into DT, a small potency gain DoT, got nuked before players had a chance to play with it. No fun allowed. Wait for the full release they said.
"Just wait for the expansion tooltips to release! The Media Tour jobs aren't final, stop making rational predictions based on previous behavior!" <-------- YOU ARE DEPARTINGYeah, the change is real, you cannot stack E.Dysk with E.Dosis anymore. "Just wait until 7.1!"
People are harshly reminded that Media Tour jobs can actually get worse to launch, and the things that make sense just don't happen. Or issues that are obvious the same day tooltips are posted don't get fixed.
Remember, someone would have to have seen the positive reaction and excitement, and then deliberately choose to remove it from the game. A decision like that would have been made by multiple people before being approved for live.
I knew it would not stick around. Because nothing good ever happens. Get ready for the SGE equivalent of Single Target Doton rather than have even the illusion of something like Miasma II returning.
Imagine getting rugpulled on your own minor job optimization before launch, without the typical rework.
Another disappointment to add to the pile. Can't wait to do this song and dance again in two years. Time is a flat circle.
It's like they do it on purpose, literally one of the most well received additions to the entire role and they still manage to fuck it up
I'm not waiting anymore. The feedback has been given and there's no way they've not seen it by now. They are deliberately making healers unfun to play so I'm done giving feedback and will just exclusively play dps from now on. I'll leave you all with this piece of wisdom I saw on earlier pages before retiring from the thread, and the role.
That's the reason why I see this as a confluence of individuals voluntarily making a change for themselves, rather than unionized action against the game direction. You can't force a change. It's about more giving yourself the value that you actually deserve. And as more healers make personal decisions do this by swapping roles, it stimulates others to reflect on why they're still stuck on a role that nobody else values.
what ward and plot I need a bigger house and I have 5 alts and all have maxed out healers(whm, sages) and I will not participate in this strike. TY strike, I will be (world first) in completing this expac before anyone else does.![]()
