I think healers are fine just the way they are, just play a different class if you don't want to press one button and have alot of ways to heal and mitigate. It's okay to get bored with a role.
I'm switching to magic dps because I want to take a break from healing to use painter. I'll just use healer whenever I feel like healing again, to assist someone, or for fast queue times. Don't expect to some grandiose dpsing as a healer, your job is to heal and keep people alive, damage is secondary. Dungeons are fodder for every role.

Where is this damage that I have to heal? Certainly did not find it in ultimate. It is all broil spam except for the occasional heal check.
