While true, I feel like for that doing it at the expansion launch where 2 new dps jobs are introduced is a bad timing to try to influence the metrics. Because the first assumption would be that a lot of people are changing because of the introduction of 2 new dps jobs. Of course it could still show in the data somehow if people switch to other jobs than the 2 new ones but if square enix has already the assumption that more people will switch to dps because of the new jobs it would make it more likely that they don't look at the data in more detail. An expansion launch brings back a lot of people that didn't play for a while as well. It is in my opinion really the worst timing to try to change the metrics in a way to show that a change is needed. (the strike can be useful in other ways though, but I feel like in terms of changing in the metrics in the short term it will likely not be very productive at this point in time)

It is a good timing to generate discussion though
