It's not non-sense. But you aren't reading what I am saying. People do want to play with friends. People do want to hop into PF's, and help people clear and get them loot. They are just non-existant items. FFXIV items aren't real *gasps*. When 2 chest is 4 pieces of gear, and and 1 is 2. its a massive difference.

And to answer your last question. There are plenty of times I clear, then a friend group asks me to sub, because some people do miss because ....*gasps* they have a real life. I know with covid and all that going on.. that people are terminally online, but some do still have to pay the bills, feed their kids, and work, and may not be able to raid all the time.

It's a problem cause it is inherently socially restrictive, and antithetical to social MMO design which this game is supposed to be about.
For me I want to play with friends, the loot to me doesn't matter but to someone else, potentially a friend or something it may matter, because they may have different plans for themselves. You can't take what I am saying for myself on loot not mattering and trying to apply it to everyone.

Okay now you're strawmanning, and being a troll, and offering nothing. It's not about greed on my part. But why should 7 people be screwed out of loot, cause 1 person had Real life stuff pop up, and the sub had already cleared. It has nothing do with greed, on my part or theres. Sorry if people actually having lives offends you. It's loot, its really not a big deal if people get it fast or not. This is why GCBTW is such a meme.
