Ok great you got an idea, and because of that i must say "Yeah sure let's change it!" i can't have my own opinion on the matter and be ok with the current system ?
Nah i can't, i must think that it needs to change because you guys wants it, you can bring the best "fix" ever ( If it does need a fix, i dont think so) , i like the system this way and it lets little room to ppl who would try to abuse it.
It's a MMO, they're here to waste your time and if you're a raider that's how you waste time, fixed weekly loots 2 chests if no one did it the first week, that's the rules those being fair or not is totally irrelevant.
And if you can't get all your things killed during this week and need the help of someone who did it, you pay the price you still have your book and you have 1 chest that's it.
I see nothing wrong with this system, and i did help a lot of poeple that would never had killed it this week without me, they have 1 less chest but at least they have 2 items and the books.

And making it even more RNG while the items already are you can be sure you would see a lot of ppl crying here that they had 87.5 % and it did not appear.
You want your stuff you kill the stuff with your group, if you can't no big deal maybe next week you ll get it and those who do things right will get their stuff week after week.

It's way better to loose 1 chest and have the kill to have nothing

And i will answer only this once about what the op keep saying like it's an argument "YEAH BUT PEOPLE DO HAVE A LIFE YOU KNOW".
Yeah, me too i do have a life and if i can't get my items 1 week because i can't be there it's not the end of the world, if one guy of my group can't raid for the whole week and i have 1 chest i will gladly accept it, once again having the book + 2 items is still good and way better than having nothing.
