    A 750M mount is a status symbol?

    The only thing that tells me is that player has nothing else beside FFXIV, online 24/7 and has been playing the market board.

    People play this game for different reasons. Some like crafting and gathering, and some like PVE type stuff. And it's not hard to make gil in this game. Obviously, having crafters/gatherers to 70 helps, but you can still make millions if you know how. Just ask the people in your FC for help. We gave tips to an fc-er with only a level 50 bot and he got the 2 or 3 mil he needed in a day. There's way you can make money without spending 24/7 on the MB.

    Bah, the Tiger mount it's the same, just replace market board by hunt.
