The heals being weaker than astrologian may have nothing to do with white Mage and everything to do with Astro being over tuned. Which means nerf for Astro not a buff to whm.

As they are both healers competing for relevance, it still matters. That is another comment: If power levels of healers were remaining about the same, it would be much less an issue; while not an improvement, WHM wouldn't be as threatened... but the power of AST and SCH are both considerably increasing, and so here we are.

You would work to knock Astro down a peg not make another class op. As for the scholar they lost a good bit too in terms of their dps. So a heal boost I don't think is unreasonable. I like all three healers, but Astro is a bit ridiculous and needs some reining in.
