In regards to your emphasis on waiting for people to join the farm or clear party, I'd rather wait 5 minutes or longer for a quality player that can 1-3 shot a fight...

It is wishful thinking that you'd get someone in 5 minutes more time. I've had see the same T6 PF on there for 3 hours or more and never get going. And most people that do this will vote abandon after the 3rd wipe anyways. So I'd rather take a chance with a someone learning and trying.

It isn't wishful thinking. I don't know how populated your server is, but on Tues-Weds when my group and I do it and we need a fill-in, the slot gets filled within that time. Again, wait time will obviously vary on the day you do SCOB. If you delay it for later in the week, the longer the wait time will be. You'll also get the worse players of the bunch later in the week too lol.
