This is a "short-sighted" request.
Currently some dungeons are available thru PF parties only.
Thereafter, when it progress to DF, what happens?
If more players quit e game, where do you get cleared players for your PF?

While I'm all for PF becoming less of a liar's game, merc'ing is a thing and one clear's not much guarantee the guy is up to scratch with the fight in the role he is, even if it was his clear job. If we're tinkering PF farms, give an option to lock that Need button.
I don't think adding a clearance condition is going to do all that much in terms of succes. I've seen iLvL 100 titan ex "farm" runs end up in wipefests simply due to certain individuals messing up despite having cleared it previously.
What also doesn't help is the vast variety of tactics which can be applied in certain encounters, but which are far from compatible with each other. Depending on the way someone learned a fight, they may play perfectly well, but still cause a group wipe as positioning didn't match. The more players using a different set of tactics, the worse of a mess it becomes.
Best is to just forget about the PF if you want to do farm runs, and just create a pool of friends with who you can do them instead.
I don't see why people are so against this.
People always go on about being allowed to watch cutscenes, well if you made a PF for a story run of CM while watching cutscenes and proceeded to be joined by a bunch of speed runners who skip everything, wouldn't that annoy you?
It seems people only want the preferential treatment to be given to people at the lower end of the spectrum.
We kind of have a clearance option in place at the moment - The "you will receive 100 mythology tomes" message that appears when a player enters the instance with your party.
Most groups I have been in for SCOB, for example, just back out and boot the player that triggered the 100 mythology message LOL. It's kind of hilarious. I can imagine the frustration this might cause players still needing clears in specific Turns for SCOB once they become farmable in 2.4.
But ya, I am all for a Previous Clear Requirement that prevents players who have not cleared the specific instance from joining a Previous Win party. I've been in enough T5, T9, and Ramuh EX fail parties because the specific player tried to ninja his win and waste everyone's time. And that bad apple player has the nerve to complain that we're booting him/her from the party and putting them on our blacklist LOL.
To those who try to ninja their win, please have more courtesy for the 7 other players in there who have already cleared and took the ACTUAL time to learn the fight. If you want a progress or practice party, join those instead please and thank you.

So, the only good players are the players who started last year? The players that cleared first were all new as well. Only difference is they learned and got good while the current groups of new players can' t be bothered to learn and get good and only want their clear and shiny so they NEED experienced players to "help" them through.
it isnt the only way, Titan EX took me 500+ runs in DF (exclusively ONLY in DF) what you say is true, most of teh people joining were like me learning the fight, whipping 2-3x and leaving, thus why the 500+ runs, when you do this through DF you need a load of patience and dedication, is a good way to learn, even with the rage quitters and Mr or Mrs Perfect attitude. I dont regret doing it with DF, you learn alot, you learn how to deal with others, with different ways too and gives you the time to learn the fight in portions....I would never join a PF....people in there are totally haughty and insulting, the few times I tried was like a nightmare. I will keep saying it, people that dont want to deal with new people, should create a static....and be done with it. This game is supposed to be social but is everything BUT social, inhabited by self centered people that all they want is what they want and what the neighbourg may need is the least of their problems unless you share some kind of friendhip/FC.this would be a valid statement if "learning mode" exists.back in the day so many Titan EX learning PTs, none of them even gets to heart phase. only way for anyone who hasn't cleared to learn is to join clear/farm PTs.
until that changes, you can't blame people for not spending enough time learning when the education system in place is an utter and complete failure.

Yet who is it that will set the clearance conditions? The party master is looking for clear and only want people that have cleared it to carry them? Talk about hypocrisy at the most blatantly obvious.
And why shouldn't preferential treatment be given to those that need it? You must be against handicap accessible ramps and parking spaces too. And when the ship goes down, you must be like that South Korean ferry captains that bails first and leave all the students to drown below decks.
Uh check box should be checkable only if you have cleared it. That is kind of the poi t of the check box. Equating people that haven't cleared to handicapped people that need ramps? What 7 other people would want to pick up the slack for that 1 person that dies to everything cause its too hard with out 25% echo?
