Seriously, some google search will lead you to a ton of different post asking for that.

But you will also find a lot asking for HW or SB version of the AST.

In fact, the EW RNG was not really liked (mostly because Astrodyne was clearly hated), but older version of the AST was well liked.
Where did you see that? Serious question because I never saw anyone asking for Astro's RNG to be removed. Wonder which platforms it was such a popular opinion on since I don't frequent all of them by any means.
