I wouldn’t say healing requirements are higher.
Folks are starting to get their 700ilvl gear and already the healing difficulty has plummeted.

Even if there were legitimately higher healer requirements, that wouldn’t change glare spam DPS from being an offense to gaming and game design.
Looking at the desert expert dungeon, the first boss has 3 instances of aoe unavoidable damage and the tank busters are barely stronger than autos.
For the 2nd boss in that instance I belive there's 2 aoes and again tank busters are tickles.
The final boss has a several stack mechanic, this can be eaisly mitigated through, and the damage is spread out far enough to be mitigated through with personals.
Healing requirements are not higher. People just don't know the mechanics and are taking more damage than necessary.
Making actual cookies has a more interesting rotation than healer cookie clicker gameplay

I come from a very dedicated gamer household where telling someone to “glare spam” is one of the highest slurs you can speak. If I told my mom to go glare spam, it’d be the equivalent of calling her a c*nt to her face. I’d be grounded for 6 months where the only games I would be allowed to play were Sonic 06, Balan Wonderworld, and FFXIV healers.
I just realized, a lot of the tanks and dps against healers having more healing to do and having more agency are a lot like Lute and Adam from Hazbin Hotel, rude and against change because they think it is stupid.

I don't get it either but I'm an oddball in that I don't understand the whole gaming streamer/youtuber thing in general. I would rather just play the games myself or with friends. The only YouTube content related to FFXIV I watch are Extreme/Savage guides and occasionaly job guides.

Why is a berserker "too angry to die" job healing the whole party? Someone explain what kind of class fantasy is this supposed to be.The run was still done in under 15 minutes, so it can't have been a big difference. It was also my first time doing the dungeon, so I have no idea what my average time might otherwise be. If it was just a solo WAR I'm sure it would have taken ages and been very annoying for everyone, but the WAR was also keeping the DPS alive.
Another MMO game gave a healing class a self-raise/reincarnation (long cooldown). Seems like an obvious solution that wouldn't make healers useless. In 4 man content when DPS and Tanks make fatal mistakes, they get rezzed and continue on to play, when a healer makes a fatal mistake without a RDM or SMN around they get punished by having to sit in the naughty corner facing the wall, unable to play.
And I guarantee the solution proposed by DPS/Tank players and probably the Devs, will be to "just give the tanks raise", instead of actually making healers, and the concept of holy trinity relevant.

Let's go back to when SMN Titan could tank a boss and just make that the tank and turn the tanks into DPSes and we all just follow the nugget
