    So did the Job quest for healer and sadly the poison esuna debuff only stacks to 4 and I had the boss still on 0.1 % hp before the other character does the lb and that’s a bit boring if you ask me.

    I don't think just giving them different flavors of attack under 1 button would be the solution... I would more look to something like Bard's Straight Shot Ready (or Hawk's Eye as it was renamed in DT)... Something where spells, both heals and attacks, could proc the ability to use a separate stronger attack.

    Even if they theoretically managed to get healers to heal frequently, their boring damage button that is the same across jobs is inexcusable.

    Both sides of this do need to be addressed, SE has a really dumb hatred of healers. Healers should need to heal frequently but when everyone is almost full health and such healers need their tools for dealing some damage, and maybe add some debuffing in there too.

    If SE lets you. There might just not be much demand in most content for a healer and you'll just be a much worse DPS.

    No, I specifically pointed out that there are multiple layers of higher-level content for those who are seeking more of a challenge (Savage, Extreme, etc.). It's the "base" game involving "normal" content that needs to be accessible to the entire playerbase. Now, if you believe that higher-level content is still under-tuned, that's it's own argument to make.

    I'm genuinely confused where you even got "the entire game" from when you quoted one of my posts that was itself a direct response to someone focusing on "normal" dungeons. Or were you just putting words in my mouth that you knew I didn't say in an attempt to get a word in?

    okay, my apologies, just trying to get a better handle on why you are so vehemently opposed to any changes. so you are saying, that the game, aside from optional upper end content (everything aside from "normal"), must revolve around the absolute lowest skill level. "normal" which in most other things would define an "average" of something, in FFXIV, cant be tuned to even average, it must be simplified back to the stone age so people can coast to level cap knowing little, with no skill to speak of, in the name of 'accessibility'.

    What they want isn't accessibility, what they are asking for is for one role to be unfun and fit for chimpanzees and apes rather than humans. I play this game with 1 arm (other is useless due to nerve damage) and healing is boring as crap. There is 0 for healers to do. They are afraid that tanks will lose their control on everything instead of sharing responsibility with the other 2 roles.
