How do you know they are on the striker's side and arent the kind of people who post snarky comments in here and call the people protesting against this game's healer design whiny assholes?

Thank you for actually answering my question, I appreciate you. I like where you're head is at (I like the new Ruin IV doing this). I thought this was all about hitting the same DPS button over and over again, wouldn't just changing the picture on the same button sequence just be the same thing?I had been thinking about this since this whole thing began, and honestly I don't even want MORE dps, I just want it to be interesting, so maybe this could work well as an idea.
When you start with your 1 ability, it changes one of your cure options to a new action for dps "combo". You could do this with a 2 ability and 3 ability so you have a 1,2,3 combo sequence (obviously could vary way past my simple mind) That way, you can have an a ton of options still available to you, a true rotation, and then you can vary it at times to leave combo action 3 up and heal and then return to combo and keep your abc's between heals. It would be pretty easy to weave ogcd's between attacks also if you got practiced.
While I don't play on controller, it would at least make it to where I need to look at my abilities more and check where I am at in rotation/what healing options I have available for a given moment. Tbh, got most of this idea after playing way too much Viper recently so you can prolly see that kinda play style in this idea, I just could see it work with the framework we already have + keep it to be without adding a ton of extra buttons.
I wouldn't mind seeing some of this though. Maybe the Cure I/II trait thing could be 100% and using Cure I automatically switches Cure II to an OGCD version with a free stack. Just spitballing. It's not a lot of extra healing but it's a bump.

They're called Chaos Agents. They go hand in hand with protesting. That's just life.
I mean, if that's the case then all dps rotations are the same thing, but I completely get you. *shrug* I am not a designer so I can only offer suggestions is hopes to get to the right one. I haven't played too hard with WHM, but always heard about the "free cure bait" so that could actually make that useful!Thank you for actually answering my question, I appreciate you. And also, I have been a day one striker and honestly, this has been the main message from the beginning of "We are bored, please help please help, we are bored" and then we get the same thing. There are other points to the strike because it is mulitple viewpoints, but it mostly stems back to that, we just don't enjoy being bored. There have been others that flame in here saying things and, well I know I am happy to talk about points like people but when flames are burning I tend to want to put them out. I hope you have a good day and do the same for others, happy to keep spitballing also~

I have heard peoples side. I've responded to people who are actually engaging instead of "you troll", "your favorite job sucks zzzzz" or "blah blah blah raiding blah blah blah".Also would it literally kill you to pretend to engage with us with like you actually want to hear our opinions
You came in here guns blazing saying we are saying fuck controller, then suddenly we are also elitist raiders and that we’ve also lost respect of every other player
Would it kill you to just respond to us without peppering everything with crap like that

We are in the elitist part of the loop again. Cant wait for someone to make the next google spreadsheet about how casual the entire thread is.
Alright, so you KNOW that such people are intentionally causing chaos, and yet you then extend their behaviour to anyone who's NOT a Chaos Agent because it's convenient for your position rather than acknowledging that maybe they're not on anyone's side and just, well, cause chaos.
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
Healers have been neglected for 3 expansions now and this needs to be rectified with the following:
- An engaging DPS kit beyond a nuke and DoT.
- Increased incoming damage so we have more to heal.
- Distinctive playstyles amongst the healers.
- Some nerfs to non-healer heals, we shouldn't be replaceable.
I started this game as a Conjurer in ARR, having been a White Mage since FFI to the point I did the full four White Mage run in that game. The only people making a mockery of our favorite job is Square Enix, and XIV's dev team. You do NOT get to act like we're not fans of White Mage because we're disgusted by the abomination our beloved Job has become.

You mean people pointing out WHM’s flaws
All jobs are viable in casual content and all jobs are mostly viable in savage. I can rip my healer main before I dropped healers apart (SCH), it’s not mocking to point out flaws in a job. WHM is just in an awkward position in the meta for healers. Our problems with healers barely focus on the existing meta anyway but you asked for points about WHM so we gave them
If you asked me from a strike perspective why I don’t like WHM it’s because of the glare spam and the fact that like SGE the kit lacks an internal reward system for efficient healing
So did my first comment fall into “blah blah blah raiding” because it’s hard to blow off raiding balance with job design

"Pointing out WHM's flaws" is a gross mischaracterization. I didn't read anything after that because why bother when someone is willing to lie about something so trivial within the first sentance. You mean people pointing out WHM’s flaws
