Especially after so much main dps came here only to tell us that this thread is dumb and that we shouldn't complain because our healer jobs are fine.

Ngl, at the very least I really hope this thread would also inspire the other majorly unsatisfied role/jobs to go on strike as well. The more noise, the better.

There will be no roles left to swap to, at this rate. Square's reaction to people playing more fun roles seems to be to make them equally unfun. I went viper this time because I thought it would be safe from the simplification as a new job, but it's getting gutted already before savage because a bunch of talentless JP players prefer it when you can't make mistakes. Just as they love their beloved two button rotation on healers. There are over 20000 logs done as viper, it's the most played job of all, and they still intend to remove all friction from it.

The most off putting part about the announcement was how there were virtually zero changes to healers, the role that is suffering the most, while they immediately react to non existent problems with other jobs.

Ya know, a lot of people think this about a lot of things (not just in gaming). The problem is that people very quickly take "noise" to be the end unto itself, and at that point, it rarely if ever accomplishes anything useful.
