As someone who has played all jobs I think these complaints are incredibly stupid

Mind being a bit more specific on "these complaints"?
Are you seeing something in the DPS rotations of healers that everyone else isn't?
Are you having a fun and engaging time healing in casual content with max level tanks?
Are you sure you've played all jobs when your "main" is level 70?
No shame, but if you only recently resubbed, and the last time you played was Stormblood, that's fine. I'd just like to know.
Edit: that was weird. in the time it took to write this reply, you've fantasia'd, and leveled Dark Knight two levels.
It's more helpful to explain why you think that way.
(Theun) A Rant on Healing in The War Within
I'd HEAVILY caution healers to be wary of asking for significant increases to difficulty. WoW has the opposite problem of FF14; there's too much healing to be done.

Healers simply want their jobs to be as engaging as the other roles
We aren’t looking to block out casual healers with savage healing in dungeons, we know raising the floor makes people quit, we just want the ceiling and level of engagement to go up
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
You're asking for engagement, aren't you? The most direct way to address that is to increase damage taken by the party (i.e., unavoidable damage vs telegraphed) and/or require Esuna checks. That isn’t what’s being asked for

Please don't misrepresent my caution. I play both 14 and Wow, their healing situations are like the First and Thirteenth - too excessive in either direction. It doesn't start with an overt desire to hardblock content, but with cumulative and gradual adjustments that either lower or raise the challenge level.
It is reasonable to ask for healers to be granted additional DPS button variety. Otherwise, healers are married to encounter design and class balancing- tanks in particular. Can any healer look at this DRK main and tell me that my job is the problem?
Ig u never heard of Alts b4 k lol
Careful they have a discord and will mass report you to get you banned from the forums. Contrary opinions are not welcome here, which is a big part of why I won't support his movement. So far those in charge have just been down right rude and nasty to anyone who has disagreed with them. Added all of them to a forum ignore and really wish that extended to black list in the game at this point.

What is it with people throwing out baseless “they are all toxic” claims while being incredibly toxic themselves

Because why engage with counterpoints when they could just poison the well instead?
Between the accusations of mass reports against dissenting opinions (no evidence for this by the way) and people claiming to support the strike by being a menace in DF (the fact they queued for DF with randoms as a healer already means they aren't striking), people just want to stir up trouble without actually looking into things themselves.
Why think for yourself when you could just parrot your favourite content creator? Why concede that maybe the strike has a point when you could just poison the well? Why would you be civil and say "I merely disagree and find the healers fine" when you could say "I think you guys are embarrassing / hilarious / stupid / childish / casual / no-lifers" and then wonder why people think you're toxic?
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
Healers have been neglected for 3 expansions now and this needs to be rectified with the following:
- An engaging DPS kit beyond a nuke and DoT.
- Increased incoming damage so we have more to heal.
- Distinctive playstyles amongst the healers.
- Some nerfs to non-healer heals, we shouldn't be replaceable.
