Oh right. I forgot about SCH. It's been a long time since that happened, hasn't it? Can't remember if it was a kneejerk to people crying about Energy Drain back in Stormblood or something else.

But yeah, they need to do something because this is not something that's going to be ignored easily - and for good measure for people like Kitiara, doesn't matter if you know Healer Mains. Your skilled healers for certain content are going to DROP. This includes Savage and Ultimate. Savage is supposed to be where Healers shine, but oh wait - Savage has been cleared with "Oops! All WAR!" - to the point where even Ultimates are a joke to them. If anything, it serves to show how deprecated the role has become.
