They do this all the time. They don't give a rat's ass about disabled players until it's convenient for them. Despicable. That's really put a bad taste in my mouth tbh. One of my statics has a person in it who does Extreme content but is suffering from a disease that's causing her to lose her ability to play the game. Everyone who plays with her knows she won't be able to play at maximum efficiency and will die a lot and fail her rotation but we are fine with it, she also agrees that the healing role isn't very good because the healers often only focus on her which she sees as a clear problem.
It's really gross that just because you don't agree with a movement you parade someone around to object to that point, that's really vile.
My condolences for your friend.
I'll give healer a try up until level 100. If I do not like it, I'm off the role, entirely. Was this what Yoshi P wanted for people like me? Did he assume we were too foolish to take any semblance of complexity? How could such an allegedly open developer act so dismissive towards his own players? The flavor of the jobs I loved so much throughout the franchise were mere husks of themselves. What was once a magical world peeled away to reveal a sterile room of four walls. No imagination, no challenge, only accessibility for the sake of it. I didn't feel welcomed, I felt betrayed.
