Then by all means, proceed with performative nonsense that will accomplish nothing yet again. The exact same thing was "tried" with Endwalker.I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that most people here are not conversationally fluent in Japanese.
And I'm not sure walking in the door and relying on automatic translation is a winning strategy for convincing an otherwise content community to change their tune.

What’s the point of even having EN forums if our only real recourse is to try to auto translate our way through the JP forums for a hope of being heard
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

When the two sides of the forum disagree, the devs can't satisfy everyone, they'll go with the side they are familiar with. If they did what these forums are screaming for, they would alienate the Japanese players.
Y'all need to come to some kind of understanding with the JP side, otherwise this is, as I said, performative nonsense. The devs *are* listening to feedback. It's just that the feedback they're listening to isn't yours. Therefore, you should endeavor to persuade the people who are giving opposing feedback. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy being ignored.

I can do this too.
"Lastly, your post actually encourage Japanese players to think this topic, which is seldom discussed in JP community. Thank you very much for your raising a suggestive question with translation!"
What's the harm in trying? Unless, again, this whole strike thing is just performance nonsense.

Even if you think this is performative nonsense, why are you here? Why do you care enough to respond to these replies if, to you, this is all just a waste of time?https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post5875538

I gave AST a shot, and it's still miserable to play, even to think about. Worst iteration by far. Praying for 8.0, I guess...

Because, while I do not typically play healer, and, therefore, am not really qualified to speak on the current status of the role, I would like the community to be better served by the dev team. I just don't see the particular idea espoused by this thread as productive, and it seems to me to be more about whining to people who already agree with you.
Therefore, I suggested an alternative idea, one that in no way opposes the underlying frustration demonstrated here. But it seems as if no effort beyond "not playing healer" and whining is worth trying. So, passive non-engagement and unproductive posturing.
Why are none of the dissatisfied healers making active attempts to get their feedback listened to? There is one place on this forum where it is generally agreed that the devs pay attention to, post over there. Yes it may be harder communicating through translation software, and yes, some Japanese posters may be hostile to westerners posting there. To which my response is "you'd rather just not play the role you like than risk being told off by an anonymous Japanese poster?"
I mean, for real, what's the worst that could happen? Someone is mean to you on the internet?

Why is enjoying the game as a tank or a dps job performative nonsense? We're just trying to play the game, not learn a whole new language to argue with the Japanese or give more feedback that will be ignored. I thought everyone agreed, "if you don't like it play something else".
