    If it isn't now it is going to be problem soon. Right now you have Flood/Edge taking 2 hot bar and produce no synergy. Same with Bloodspiller and Quietus. If you don't merge it now the next expansion you would have too anyway.


    And for Abyssal Drain it doesn't give a blood gauge it only restore mp and give a stack of abyss which is a bullet for darkpassenger.
    However if this version of Abyssal Drain does restore mp too fast then there is an alternate it could be like :
    Upon landing Abyssal Drain restore 600 mp and grant a buff which make the next 4 gcd restore 600 mp upon landing but I prefer 1 hit and the job done if possible since I don't want to experience the nuisance when the target just decide to jump or teleport/became untargetable before I could land all the hit.


    If you want to convince all the DRK main to not turn tbn to 25s and no mp cost then be my guest. I won't engage in that topic and I can't be convinced otherwise.

    Yes, as I already stated it would be a problem in 7.0 if they don't do anything about it. Edge/Flood's interaction lies within DA procs, and that requires TBN to pop, which...isn't much. It's there, though.

    MP gain being too fast wouldn't be the problem here; Shadowbringer is essentially the spiritual successor to Dark Passenger. Again, this may sound good on paper but it likely wouldn't be received well in practice. Bosses becoming untargeteable is a fight to fight basis and falls upon the player(s) to plan around that (not that it's always well timed given the 2-minute burst meta..).

    It is quite literally a nerf to DRK's defense, the same exact thing you claimed to wanted to remedy the lack thereof because of the removal of DRK dance. This is also without mentioning you wanted to make Oblation have an MP cost. so, if DA didn't break, you would still lose out on dps if the shield didn't break. TBN is fine as is.

    salt and darkness act like a finisher because it require you to set up a salted earth first. if you decide that something isn't a finisher by animation then carve and spit would have been classified as a finisher long ago.



    Try imagine salted earth>Abyssal Drain>darkpassenger>salt and darkness=set up>build up>finisher
    There are now a link instead hit a buff like delirium and unload all your bloodspiller and ogcd available.


    Having to remember about Blood Weapon cost for Living Shadow isn't anything to brag about since the tool kit is decided for 2min burst even an old man can do. The player must have been out of touch if they fail to have 20 blood for LS. So it is no way a challenge worth mentioning or preserving.


    If the shield didn't break how could that attack reduce your hp? and why would you lose mp for it when this tbn is now having no cost?


    TBN gain 10% damage reduction every 25% while dark mind is removed and gain a 1200 pot free heal on player decision isn't a nerf

    Look man Salt and Darkness is an incredibly underwhelming looking finisher if that's the case. Abyssal Drain is far and away a better looking animation if you want an aoe finisher. Finishers should look satisfying to execute especially if they are on a 90 second cooldown. S&D is not that.

    I'll say it again, Bloodspiller only looks boring to us because of how often we use it. Take Delirium making us use it 3 times out of the equation or make Delirium give us a combo that starts with it and it'll feel less bland.

    Did you read when I said Scourge would be the ability that costs 20 gauge, not Living Shadow? Having to remember 20 gauge for an ability on a 120 second cooldown is laughable at best.

    I actually didn't think of it like that, my bad.

    I would still prefer it in its current state though. Having a short cd on a 15s CD with the mp cost instead of 25s with no cost actually makes it feel different from the other tanks.
