I reckon the average person could muster the empathy to understand a few people are going to voice their complaints with a degree of anger. I hope your wife gets to play soon but I'm not sure how trying to be edgy on a forum is going to help you accomplish that. :-)

I just contacted Support myself to request a refund for the three months remaining on my sub. Personally, I made a point of bringing up the fact that the benchmark did not suffer from the stutter, and using the words "false advertising." No idea if that will work but I thought it was worth a shot.
Trolls and overly-defensive fans who don't understand that we're fans too are going to be out in force for the next few days. Do try to avoid feeding them.
For anyone who uses Twitter (I'm reluctant to dive into the cesspit but I'm starting to seriously consider it), please make as much noise in as many places as possible. But PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL.
The problem is, maybe they do not know where the problem is. If it would be a general problem with the game then everybody would have it. I guess, they will test the client with various hardware and software combinations. But when all their tests do not trigger the issue then it is hard to find out where the problem is.
My recommendation in this case is: reinstall your OS and install GPU drivers, chipset drivers if you are using an AMD chipset and NIC drivers only. No "motherboard tools" or "mouse drivers" to change you LED color and no "tuning" or "cleanup" tools ala CCleaner. And no third party antivirus programs. Leave Windows as it is.

Its still broken.
I wasn't expecting it to be fixed, but to have it not even show up in "known issues" was dissapointing not to say infuriating. Anyway, it's beyond clear they are just going to ignore until we go away. At this point, there are only three things we can do:
- Get the PC specs from someone without the issue and buy their exact same chipset model and motherboard they're using.
- Unsub and move on, there are many other great games to play out there.
- Stop seeking help from IT folks on this thread, because there is nothing we can do on our side to fix it. Instead, start looking for law people. I'm not going to pretend I understand law, but I'm pretty sure claiming your software works on hardware X, only for it to not work on X is false advertsing. I can't personally do anything about it since I don't live on NA/EU, but I'm sure you guys who live there can do something about it.
I wasn't planning on replacing hardware right in the middle of a global chip shortage, but since I was going to do it eventually I guess this calls for a change of plans.

1.) I want to make a survey about the audio issues community members can fill out. I'd use google surveys for that. It would include a few questions, specs, tests, and a way to link to their results, their previous bug report, forum posts etc. This would allow for a lot of data to be neatly compiled in a very short amount of time. It would also centralize all the data, and give Square a good idea of what range of issues are experiences on what hardware, and what exactly is happening in each individual case. It would actually be two surveys. One in english and one in japanese.

2.) I would like to make a collective community bug report, using said data, both here on the english forums and on the jp forums. This bug report would summarize everything and be posted as a collective community bug report, using the survey's data.

3.) I would like to send a letter to a few key people - Masayoshi Soken (Primals Member, Sound Director), Yoshi P, Michael Christopher Koji Fox (Primals member and english-japanese translator), whoever is behind /u/embodygoblin, and maybe 1 or 2 ff14 streamers and/or gameing journalists. The letters would inform the people in a respectful way about the issues, and link them the survey with the data, as well as key findings and a timeline of things.

SE won't care about us as we are low value customers. No matter how much you end up begging them to get this resolved. Have some self respect and move on. It's alright. There are many games that are worth your time. ^^
