When I come home at 7 pm I stare at a queue of around 8k players waiting, even if I do not get disconnected I face around 4 hours plus to wait. By that time i have to go sleep because my night ends at 5:30 am.

So common sense for me is, if SE is not able to provide a service worth the money, they don´t get any money from me unless they are. I do not care 1 cent why they are not able to. I am aware of the semiconductor shortage, I work in IT for over 25 years as a system engineer. Where I work we suffer from that too, but you know what, our customers don´t freaking care too, they care about us providing the service they paid for. That´s how business works, it does not work with excuses.

Honestly what is that with gamers excusing every- and anything so easily, you are customers and you and your money is more worth than Square Enix is providing at the moment.

My subscription ends by the end of december, if this shit show is going on by then, i won´t resubscribe. That´s my common sense.
You'd think you would understand quite well then, how difficult it is to procure servers and how unreasonable it is when someone is asking you to do something that is impossible. SE has made statements quite a few times now detailing their continued efforts to procure servers, but being unable to do so thanks to global situation created by COVID. Yet everyone wants to continuously yell at them for not being able to make servers pop out of thin air or not predicting a tripling of population that no one could have predicted. There is no effort to understand SE's efforts on this, just a focus on the self and an anger over not having the launch be buttery smooth when no popular MMO launch ever is.

Moreover, they will be conducting maintenance to remedy the other errors associated with their login queue. I'm not sure what people think stamping their feet in a tantrum is going to accomplish when SE is already fully aware of the issue and devoting their resources to resolving it. What do you want from them? To wave a magic wand and make servers appear?
