Does any of the complains make the qeue go faster or make the errors disappear? ......nope it doesn't .
It sucks and and we need to deal with it.

I am sure SE does its best and I don't believe there is a simple solution.

Logged in early, only 500 in queue, place 20 after 30min - 4004 error.
Reconnect, 1200 queue, 4004 error after 5min again.
Then like 5-10 x 2002 error, can't get past lobby server.
Switched to Japanese VPN, get past lobby server, 2000 queue now.
Thanks SE, it is totally a hardware issue, right... it is definitely not the servers setup that can't even work properly with just a 500 people queue.

Edit: We have confirmed an issue where during the process of admitting these 100 players, if certain conditions coincide in combination while the servers are experiencing extremely high loads, up to 25 of these players will receive an error.


So 1 in 4 got kicked under those conditions, if the queue works as intended people wont complain as much anymore

I wonder what is the point in free game time if we cannot access the game to use it... Waited 3 hours in queue just to get down from 6k+ to 9 to get 2002'ed. While I appreciate the thought and gesture behind free game time it's like giving me a free ticket to a buffet with a broken jaw.

I get the annoyance perfectly.

I have been unable to play since last friday, both due to real life stuff and the queues. So today I logged at 16:00hr, seeing as I finally had the time for both waiting in line and play the whole evening. The queue was at that moment ~3800 persons long; wich already was kinda bad. So I am waiting in queue for 2.5 hours only to get booted due to "error 2002" and so I am booted back to the back of the queue, wich is now 7000 persons long....

Now I do not mind the queues themselves mind you, but being booted right back to the back of a queue is just more then an annoyance. I then wonder: why (if this isn't the case yet) not add a timer that makes it so that if you are disconnected you have a 5 minutes or so grace period in wich you can reconnect and retake your spot in the queue? Thats a good system and other MMO's have that aswell. This is an online game afterall, and so connection errors are to be expected; so having something like that would make for a better experience. (and this even more due to error 2002 being a server-side error)

I think it's fine to be abit upset. I mean people pay for both the expansion and a montly fee. But i understand that usually on launch there is issues. So i can be abit patient. But i work mon-fri and the only time i can play is on peak-hours. So i'm worried that this might take many many months for the ques to die down enough to be able to log on without waiting for hours when i might only have 3-4 hours to play at best, making it almost impossible to enjoy the game. It's hard to justify paying a monthly fee if you can only play it abit on the weekends.

2002 should be fixed today at night they said (because that fix can't be done at peak hours). queues are going to stay for a few months.
