Pretty bored with FF14 right now, but I don't know what else to play. I thought about resubbing to WoW, but I know that 99% of what I mentally map out for myself to accomplish won't be done.
I log in to that game and instantly lose motivation.

No offline games you find interesting at the moment?
One of my closest friends is taking a semi-break from XIV so she can play Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I'm actually kind of jealous; I love the Fire Emblem series but don't have a Switch.![]()
I would recommend a game that plays differently from FFXIV. Or it could just end up feeling like you're doing the same thing once again.
I'm switching between FFXIV and ESO.
Both are good MMOs imo and they play differently enouth to feel refreshing when I login. plus ESO doesn't require an active sub to play (Buy2Play though). So easy to just jump in once in a while to play a little.
I do recommend Single player games aswell, since the story in those games tend to be alot better than in MMOs. If that is what you seek.
I'm pretty bored too and I've only been back for a little while. I'm also burnt out because I had to slog through a bunch of irrelevant crap just to get to the fun stuff.
I'm thinking of just going back to BDO. Lots to explore, lots to do, and everything technically matters.
Your better off getting bored in FFXIV or playing another game than going back to BDO lol. That game has been nothing but a weekly disappointment ever since the November 2017 disaster.I'm pretty bored too and I've only been back for a little while. Is that when they did something to all the classes? I haven't played in a very, very long time.
November 2017 is when Black Desert Online released Kamasylvia Part 2, except the servers were so laggy you couldn't stay logged on for more than 30 minutes. You could not even AFK fish lol. This went from November to January 2018. There was even a massive protest led by popular Streamers on Calpheon. The GM's did nothing but blame the player's ISP's for the lag and even recommended Mudfish VPN, which is a Korean VPN. November 2017 was the beginning of the end of BDO lol. That's when most players opened their eyes and realized how much of a scam the game is.
Someone even made a meme video about the disaster lol. See for yourself.

This was followed by broken promises not to make the game P2W, Speedhackers literally everywhere and GM's not doing anything about it, Regular players abusing Seamonster Hunting and Guild Payouts, and most recently, BDO releasing the Central market with a known bug that eat's player's money and makes it disappear lol. You will never see such incompetence in FFXIV lol. Your better off playing any other game or doing something else than wasting your time on that game.

maybe an offline game could help? iam bit bored too with FF14 now, just login, do daily, log out. my method for something like this is to play something the exact opposite of FF14 style game. FF14 is slow and tab target so i recommend to play something fast and energetic.
thankfully there is a bunch of other games that i play right now and iam enjoying so far.
- iam really enjoying EDF5 so far <--- my main game right now
- new wolfenstein is out
- got several mobile games that keep me somewhat busy
dont fixated on single game like FF14, it will get you bored... fast. especially when you are pretty much done with it and only there for daily and new content.
