If you don't want them keeping items locked away, complain at them to stop making exclusives in the first place. It's cut and dry fraud and false advertising, which is the entire issue here. This is how much they value you as a customer. They know your wallet was never going to close regardless of what they did.
The FF10 sets were never stated to be exclusive. Simply that you would get 1 of the sets for each livestream ticket you purchased.
