I seriously just don't get this argument. You get a chance to watch the Fanfest stream, two days of events for the game going over the upcoming expansion, diving into panels, a PLL live, cosplay contests, the friggin Piano/Primals concerts streamed(which they don't do anymore and I'd kill to see it), and AS A BONUS get these items included with your pass.

Yes you do. But SE didn't focus on that in their advertising above. They only said about the outfits/minions. There's no mention of everything else you get, they literally only focused on telling us it was our last chance to get these items (and to hand over our money before the deadline).

Also keep in mind those items are attached to your account forever, while anyone who purchases the glam fromthe mogstation can't reclaim it from Calamity Salvager unlike those who purchased the stream pass. So if you goof up and throw it out, you can only reclaim it once through the item restore and after that you're paying for it again.

I'm afraid that's not actually correct. FanFest people (both in person and people buying the stream) got tokens to trade in for the outfit of their choice. You can't repurchase the outfit if you don't have the tokens (they don't sell it for Gil like other items). It was also why you had to buy two different Fanfest streams to get enough tokens to get both outfits.

I'm also speaking as a guy who went to Fanfest last year, got the Fenrir Bike/Tifa minion with the full knowledge these items would be made available for purchase later on.

Yes, but I don't really understand the point you're trying to make. SE told at the point they announced those FanFests that the items would be available on the Mogstation. However what I posted above stated that the items only came from purchasing the FanFest stream and it was your last chance to get them so you had to buy them now.

Don't act as if having spent 30$ or so 2 years ago is what's making you angry. You just don't want every pleb owning and showing off the exclusive stuff you have, period :P

I'm annoyed that I had to pay £90 for 3 minions that I've never even used because I collect the silly things and SE said that was the only way I could get them. I'd much rather have paid £15 later, if we had known this was an option, but at the time SE had assured us it was not.

Really you had the items for years that you paid for now you're angry that more people can pay for them too?

Why is everyone focusing on that rather than the point I'm trying to make. We were quite clearly told one thing by SE that turned out not actually to be true.

How can we believe anything from SE going forward?
