I agree the thread itself is annoying to read but the incident and who it happened to makes it highly unlikely Yoshi-P will ever add an official parse. Thankfully we have unofficial one, and I highly doubt they will ever go out their way to break ACT. If ACT was not a thing all things staying the same the incident would not have been prevented, I just do not see Yoshi-P backing down from his position. Just as I do not see him reverting the changes to feast, or other adjustments or limitations in placed to prevent one thing or another.

I agree SE will still police just as hard as they do now, I just think this is one of those topics that they look for any excuse to not bother with it, and this one incident will be all the fuel they need to more or less support their no official parse. It sucks, but to a certain degree I am fine with it. It is not l like we are without the tool. Sure it sucks for those that are on console or refuse to use a third party program, but end of the day is that really SE problem? I mean people would have a better case if no other option was available. We do though granted for some they are not optimal, but what can you do. Asking for an official parse is akin to asking them to allow us to mail between alts or have them bring back pvp chat in feast. Prob will not happen since SE is stuck in their ways.

For us we view it as the positives will outweigh the negatives, but I do not think SE shares that position and if SE reads the forums the clear divided between the forum user base and the incident provides them with enough "data" to support whatever position they desire. I get where people are coming from, but I do feel this is one of those topics that will always result in 'no'

SE often does things to the extreme. Loooking at you removal of chat in pvp.
