My boyfriend was actually quite happy and he mains AST.
Who said I was feeling bad anyways? Y'all need to chill. Stuff is subject to changes.
I'm intending to get all my Jobs to 70 anyways so, I'm perfectly fine with the WHM changes.

♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
It's base cooldown is 60 seconds down from 90 in HW, that much is guaranteed. The tier II lily trait is likely to be a little more consistent source of CD reduction on assize (Cure1/2 crits give a 20% chance to reduce Assize/Asylum's CD by 5 seconds) than the main lily mechanic on the UI sadly. I will add tho, assize was typically used on cooldown in progression raiding. At best you would try to time your first cast so it'd line up with something useful further into the fight (Aka A4S), at worst, you just mashed it towards the end of your opener in cleric stance and never looked back.
I suspect the tooltips are still work in progress TBH and I'd also go as far as taking all the values shown with a little pinch of salt. Benison's tooltip highlights this beautifully with no mention of it needing a lily stack to be usable (Which is clearly demonstrated and confirmed in a few of the ability videos).
Aaaaand I hit my forum post limit right as 2 threads pop up claiming that Earthly Star is going to be a 900 potency assize, Someone do the honours and point out the radius thing to them ta? =(

~ WHM / badSCH / Snob ~ http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/871132/ ~
Doesn't make sense.
If no healing is required, why would people spam cure for them lilies? They'll throw stones just as before.
If healing is required, you heal with the appropriate tools, same as before.
3 lilies is 20% of a given cooldown. Sure, it's nice, but it's nothing "game breaking" to necessitate maximum cure spam at all costs.
Thanks for completely destroying the only job I loved. I never needed more heals. I barely even had a need to actively heal and that was a sign of a good party.
Considering basically leaving as all the other stuff in the game's useless without a main job.
I haven't even looked at the new spells tbh. WHM is my main, I enjoy it, so I'll continue to play it. :3
~Quit moping, get hoping~
The comic made me lol. Solid thread for lols.
On the matter of utility, there's a reason why i will always get more enjoyment out of FFXI than FFXIV....
Course i will drop XI and play Stormblood all day every day for a few weeks after it comes out, cuz... well, it will be fun.

Make it happen.
They took away so many of the whm spells too its not even funny and worse yet they gave us nothing back, the whm identity was completely destroyed. They did some stupid stuff besides that like leaving repose and removing damage from fluid aura though. Why??
Been and raided as whm ever since the relaunch and so sad to see it in this sorry state. By far the worst class going into the expansion.
I guess they got really angry at all whm because we refuse to play ast even after all the insane buffs, and i refuse to play it now too lol, luckily i leveled a nin just in case.
I wonder what the jp community thinks of this.

Hi. I imagine that Earthly Star will be a two-step skill, you first use it like a regular ground skill and then activate it at any time to pop the heal/damage, usually after 10 seconds for maximum potency. If it really works that way, I think it's godlike. For example in Zurvan (can't think of a better example atm), while he is casting Soar you use ES in the middle, do the mechanic, stack in the middle (at this time 10 seconds have passed) and pop the AoE for free 900 potency heal, seems really good for players that know the boss script/rotation well.
Lilly is horrible, not really optimistic for adjustments before early acess, but who knows...
