With all due respect their white mage "theme" is the biggest problem currently.

How very fitting that White Mage's resource is flowers considering that will be lining its shallow, unmarked grave.
You deserved better White Mage.
eh, they'll Fix it eventually probably by going waay to far in the other direction. I'm holding out hope that Lillies/Confession gets a little more attention before June and the incoming dmg in Stormblood is far in excess of anything we've seen before. Return of the 2.0 era 4-mans please!!

Can't argue there.
Anyone else notice that they took away Bio?... So thats:
Aero- Weave gone.
Bio- Weave gone.
Blizzard II- AOE over 10 Potency gone... that might be gone too, tbh. Dont see miasma ii on SCH hotbars anywhere.
SMN is getting trait boosts to miasma and bio II, which means they probably staying the same, and Bane is become worse.
Looking great this expansion. At least we still have ruin II to weave with?
Thanks SE. You made it really easy to decide to level RDM to 70 and leave SCH in a box.

We lost Blizzard 2 and Miasma 2 but Bio3 and Ruin2 are instant cast and Ruin2 is 100 potency nowAnyone else notice that they took away Bio?... So thats:

I'm just some guy...

I think something that may have been missed (not to say it solves everything, but) Assize is now both a potent heal AND a potent AoE.
First, while the concerns are quite legit, I feel like a lot of the hubris is partially initial shock.
That aside, it speaks in volumes when one healing job gets gutted to kit out the others for the role actions. . . I'm aware that AST/SCH will likely be the preferred healer duo if nothing is changed, but I wouldn't count out WHM just yet (and SE, if you're reading this, let there be no mistake: WHM is going to need a better change). A few of the videos and articles pinpointed the fact that much of what made WHM unique was taken from them to create the role actions, but they barely got anything to make up for it, and that's largely where the problem lies. AST/SCH are now better because WHM was made worse. And if it hasn't been said, let it be said that while SE envisions a "pure healer" concept for WHM, the game and the meta simply requires more than that.
This isn't saying the other two weren't viable on their own, but that without the WHM spells/abilities, or the other jobs' proxies to them, they were effectively niche, and designed to augment a WHM, not replace it. Granted, such isn't the case looking at it now, but rather than succumbing to mass hysteria or threatening to quit or declaring "Delete WHM", form and provide organized feedback that SE can revisit the job with.
What are the strengths of the WHM? - Build on them
What are the weaknesses? - Improve them
How can it perform better at different levels? - Think and design around this
SCH got more cruise control. AST has a Healer-Wildfire and auto-card-management (Yes, I'm over generalizing, they have more than that). WHM just became the Healer Role Action blueprint. They need more than that.

Please tell me its really May the 30th and the Embargo has not been yet lifted... please tell me this is all just a bad dream and were going to wake up....
please...
