Can we get rid of prisms please?

I,m hoping everyone can agree with me on this one, so se has given us only one prism now for each crafting class. And at least on my server they arent worth very much anymore. I'm hoping that maybe they will eventually get rid of this system to making glaming easy. I hope that they do ,why make this so complicated, Ive used potd just to skip this process in some cases cause I level fast if that's what I'm intending to do and I don't wana have to glam my clothes every two to three levels. Looks like with cutting out the other four prisms they seem to be on pace to get rid of this system I hope. What do you guys think are does anyone actually even like prisms and like the current system? My first time reaching cap on forums ha, didnt know that was gona happen, but I see the player base is pretty divided on this topic ha

They certainly work as it is, but it's one of my least favourite systems that accomplish the same thing. I think the costume system in Wildstar worked well - speak to vendor, set costume, the no matter what gear you change, your costume stays the same. Guild Wars 2's system is pretty much the same as here IIRC, but fewer types of prisms and unlocked outfits. WoW's system works alright, with unlocked transmogs and you apply them to your gear at a vendor. IMO Wildstar > WoW > GW2 > FFXIV

They won't, however it would be so much nicer if glamouring consisted of opening a second character menu where whatever you equipped there immediately glamoured over your current gear. It'd also allow jobs that share gear to have different glamour.

Well swtor must have the best system then u just pay in game money to glam over anything u want if it fits your class, just really doesnt make sense to do it otherwise. What exactly are who exactly are prisms helping in the game its just a bit of an annoyance

Why want they we just went from 5 per crafting class to just one single one now you dont think they could eventually phase it out.

God that'd be nice. I really want to have different glamours for my PLD and DRK, or BRD and MCH, but since they share gear it's impossible except when wearing Artifact Gear. Which happens all of, what, once in an expansion cycle? At least if I want to keep them all reasonably well-geared.

YES. I'd love this system. Part of my greatest woes about getting DRK to level 50 is that I'll have to share its glamours with PLD... I'm surprised that this isn't common in games that have what you wear affect your appearance already, tbh.

I havent had this problem yet but is it away to just have one slightly having a better gear level than the other so you can still glam them. Cause Im not really tryin to share the same clothes for my scholar whm , or pali and drk?

    I mean.

You could do that, but it's going to gimp your stats a bit, and that's not really worth it in my opinion. I'm a man of statistics first and aesthetics next.

It would be way better to have the ability to have glamour be divorced from the job you're using rather than having to force-gimp yourself (or spend a relative fortune on glamour prisms whenever you switch jobs).
