It would be way better to have the ability to have glamour be divorced from the job you're using rather than having to force-gimp yourself (or spend a relative fortune on glamour prisms whenever you switch jobs).
so for instance lets say you have 250 gear on ur whm, woudl it be a huge difference if u put just 240 gear on ur scholar so that they could wear diff aesthetics, are with the current gear level 270 on whm and 250 on scholar would it make one that much worse than the other?

I'll openly admit that I don't know how much of a difference it is precisely. But I'd be against willingly gimping yourself just so you could have two different aesthetic options...

Which is why I'm in support for adding in a not-so-expensive way to have different glamours per job.

The only issues with glamour is 1) there's no glamour gallery that stores glamour pieces, and 2) glamour works on a item-by-item basis, and should be on a slot-by-slot basis, saved alongside the gearset itself.

Phasing out glamour prisms cuts off a potential way for people to make money as prisms are always in demand. Even more so now that there is one per crafter.

I dono I might have to do so wearing the same gear will throw off my roleplay , I notice this feature first when I bought a chest peice of my blm and realized that my summour had to wear the samething thing. Im willin to put better gear on my main jobs , to avoid this issue

    No.

One prism per crafting discipline actually makes logical sense within the lore of how things work. Only a blacksmith has the know how to create glamour prism for things that a blacksmith makes, how could you expect a blacksmith to do the same for a leather item, or a fine piece of jewellery? One per discipline is absolutely fine. Removing the tiers of prisms fixed things with regard to prisms IMHO.

I was stating that why do crafters even need to make them , and it just be a game feature instead of something to do with crafting, I highly doubt that people are swimming in gil from selling prisms. Like they are goin for like 3000 a piece , who would really get mad if they could just switch gear on an off as they please without having to go to mb, or craft your own prism to do so ?

Crafters make and sell them, it's part of the in-game economy. If crafters cannot sell their goods to other players, there is no reason to be a crafter. Consumable items like glamour prisms are pretty fundamental, like food is. You're complaining about the cost of glamour prisms, what about food? People go through more food than prisms. Once your glamour is set, do you change it daily? Probably not. but if you are running end-game content and the food helps you with that, you'll use it every day.

Prisms are a consumable item that is part of the player - player economy. It doesn't need fixing or removing.

P.S. 3000gil a piece is pretty inexpensive actually.

I'm pretty sure that was their point. If it's so inexpensive, what would the harm to the economy be by removing it? Plenty of other stuff to sell.

Thats exactly my point , I can make prisms myself, and dont even bother selling them because it isnt even worth doing so there is no gil to be made in it esp now with how they changed the system. Before I could understand , but now the prices are very low on them so we want to prevent everyone from wearing wat they want for a crafting to make 30 k gil off of every 10 prisms. That's nothing and you literally have tons of other items to sell, and some people would glam that much if u didnt have to have prisms over and over.

Its actually the lower costing items that sell bucket loads that make people the most gil. Its easy to sell prism, because there is high demand, and they dont take long to craft. People are also lazy, and would rather purchase them than craft them themselves.

And not everyone has crafters up to 50 in order to crafter them either.
