Now, before you all say, "Oh come on dude, why you gotta crap on something so awesome," honestly think about it. The consequences will be a domino effect that just might force SE to do a server rollback.

Here's an example: I just got 25,000EXP in less than five minutes. From level 24 to 25 with a friend killing and chaining crabs for me in my party.

The above is far far too extreme. Given these possibilities, and even more if she killed something at a higher level, everyone will exploit the crap out of this and no one will have a job below level 40 within a month. Do we really want this? Do we want to make the journey to cap so utterly pointless?

I'm really concerned for the future of this game if this is what SE intended in this patch! This is bad, really bad. Please, SE, let's get an emergency maintenance and fix this before it is too late!
Quick somebody call the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHMBULANCE again.

Don't abuse the system if you are going to complain about it you hypocrite. I like the new system but I do agree maybe the EXP is a tad bit high. YoshiP said he wanted it this way on purpose, I guess you don't bother to read the patch notes and other forum posts by the director. He wants the new players to level fast though too fast would be bad, but he wants the new players to be able to skip the grind for the most part so they can start doing content with their friends. Instead of getting shafted since the game has been out for a year most players have like 4-5 classes at 50. People in my LS literally don't have any classes even crafter classes under 30 or 40. How would a noob ever catch up to that?

I think EXP gains algorithm should be adjusted but I would still like to see high exp gains on chain 5+ maybe a cap of like 800 EXP or something like that. This is FFXI, this game isn't hardcore timesink in the same fashion as XI and that is the approach they are taking it is a very casual friendly game and they are staying on course with that train of thought since the beginning of the game.

I don't think the people who have a problem with what's going on now are necessarily completely anti-powerleveling. I know I'm not. But it should be limited at the very least. Level 50 mobs should not give full exp to a level 20 player when a level 50 in their party killed them. It makes no sense and no other MMO does it.
It's not untrue, he said it plain as day that he is completely okay with someone helping their friends level up in that manner. Also you made the exact point that no other MMO does this, that is why it will work.
