So if someone wants to intentionally be bad so be it, but we shouldn't be encouraging it or saying it's ok for people to play the way they want. Should a SMN not use Virus and E4E because they are a dps? Of course not, they should be using their whole kit to help the group succeed in as efficient a manner as possible. No difference here. I can't imagine a Ninja saying they won't use goad because they are a dps not support. But for some reason there is this small group of healers that just refuse to try and dps when the situation would very much allow for it. Can't stop anyone from doing what they are gonna do - but we can tell them it makes them bad at their job. Well, maybe bad is not the right word - if the group is alive I don't know I'd call the healer bad - perhaps a more accurate way to describe it would be they simply aren't excelling at their job.

It's not my play style choice - I didn't give SCH Cleric Stance, Bane, 5 dots and a 170 potency nuke - SE did. WHM and AST also have tons of great dps tools. Play style is preferring to build for determination and spell speed versus crit, or how you go about using your Lustrate stacks. Choosing not to play your job optimally is just that - intentionally not excelliing at your job. It's frustrating because often it's skill that holds someone back - but that's not really their fault so it's hard to be mad at em. But someone making the conscious decision to not be great at their job - that's frustrating.
