    I sort of agree that in comparison, DRG jumps are the highest risk skills out there, and in order to even get close to MNK/NIN DPS, they need to be used at all times.

    While MNK is a bit trickier class to play as they need to move all the time, DRGs have to take more risks and have more situational awareness.

    Just my opinion, been playing both...

    Is 6.9k+ enough health for T13 if dragon kick and what about without it? I am of course speaking about DRG.

    Just got to T13 today so I have seen lots of different info about DRG HP needed, so could somebody give some opinion.. Thanks !

I really think Jump is fine, but that is my own opinion.

    Btw, neither IR nor B4B give 30% extra crit chance. Its 10% at best.

    Personally i don't like the remove of positionals it will make it feel DRG is another MNK only with jumps now and then. In my opinion if you main DRG you know exactly how to land your HT and ID it makes for example Kraken fun to do because you have to ID the tentical and switch over to the Kraken witch makes the Job feel more active. The only isue i had whas MDef in FCOB but then again if you raid and have a BLM you can ask to get that sweet Apocastasis and you will be just fine granted im still on T12 so i don't know how much damage DRG get in T13. The Jumps feel imo fine at the moment.

    There's never enough HP. Never, ever. I've seen things, man! *rocks back and forth in fetal position*

    So that 7044 Megaflare hit rickyguo mentioned a few pages back? That's the exact number of hit points an i130 Highlander BiS DRG with 2-star food has. This hypothetical dragoon would have slightly more magic defense, sure, but I hope the point is made.

    It highly depends on your healer if they can succor you. Currently, megaflare during divebomb phase could hit us as hard as 7.2k (Died many times, i have 7.1k + with food). My static pld have to SS me for megaflare during divebomb for precaution

    I'm not too sure about these changes. Doing more damage is good, yep, and that MDEF boost is definitely needed. On the other hand, I really like the DRG's quirkyness and the fact that you need to know what you're doing to play the job properly.

    Sure, missing the flank on HT is infuriating and I regularly throw fits at tanks who just can't stand still, but I'd rather HT's damage boost was increased if properly executed rather than the skill potency. Having another 5% damage for 20 seconds is worth much more than a one-off potency increase.

    I'd also want to take Feint off the GCD and make more mobs (perhaps not bosses, but certainly minibosses and other strong mobs) susceptible to being slowed. It's a nice skill that could give tanks a bit less heat and slow big AoEs enough for people to get to safety, adding to our much-discussed utility. If it could be weaved inbetween the main rotation, it'd actually be used. As it is now it's probably the only skill that I never, ever use.

    You've brought up another excellent point. Dragoons who actually raid haven't had feint on our hotbar ever since we BCOH Turn 1. It's a wasted skill that will never be used. I really want to know why SE haven't removed or done anything about this skill. It's kind of disappointing to say the least.

    We don't have any utility for raiding. All we do is make it so BRDs can do more damage... Unless NIN just gets wrecked in patches, I don't see DRG being more attractive. Even if it does MNK MNK is still the most DPS you can do for melee on a single target.

    Agreed. When I was a low-level newbie roaming the Shroud, Feint was pretty cool and actually helped. These days, not so much. That's a shame when it is a skill that could possibly set us apart from all other jobs. I don't think MNK and NIN should be nerfed, because those jobs are fine and have their uses. DRG just needs that little thing that makes us useful to someone else - being extremely mobile is good for ourselves but not our party, so there needs to be something else.
