Who know who complained about what in FFXI. I wasn't there and it is irrelevant, this is FFXIV ARR.
That is so delusional. The posts that is asking for this gets shouted down the instant they show up. People want an MMO and not an online solo game. And that is why there is consistent support for level sync at low level dungeons even with skills locked, despite the wishes of speed runners to solo stuff like totorak.
I don't know which universe you are in and where you get your numbers. But those are completely bogus, and nobody is calling you any of names until you start excluding them, verbally abuse them, and forcing them to skip cutscene, and force them to watch videos. People new to coils, new to raids, are simply happy to be in a party and to practice and wipe.
This more false exaggeration. The newer players and newbies want to earn their clear as much as anyone else, they just want a chance to be in a party to do it. The scheduling, meeting up with new people, coordinating to form a static etc. these are the harder logistics challenges that they need to overcome to do any of this content and earn a clear, and in someways that challenge is actually harder than the content itself.
They in this case is really the typical speed runner/farmer mentality. They just want people at their beck and call and take everyone else for granted. This is not how newer players or newbies think. The newbies don't even likely know enough to think about things on those terms. Heck many of them are discovering how to use the PF on T5 and usually are too shy to start their own PF party.
SE has schedule for releases and SE knows to keep the bleeding edge raider happy they need to release new content at a reasonable pace, but to avoid blocking newer players, they make the older content more accessible. There is no need to be upset about the SCOB being replace by final coil. Is just like soldiery replacing myth and whatever else replacing soldiery. The more it changes the more it stays the same.
